Should we embrace Intentional Living
Intentional living is living your life through your chosen values and ethics. Having the ability to react in certain situations means you'll be in more control. Intentional living allows you to have more purpose in life. Be more aware of your actions and hopefully result in more life fulfilment.
I want to make a short video for us about this subject because I've lost with life previously and we all need some sort of purpose with our days. Allowing us to live more intentionally will result more productiveness and life in general. I hate getting to the end of the year or month and think "where has all my time gone?" because I feel I've waisted time or not use that time in the right way.
I'm making videos this year all about personal growth and personal development so if you fancy coming on this journey with me then click the subscribe button and we can grow together. Or you can just enjoy some videos where I might fail... your choice!
If my riveting videos are not enough for you feel free to find me on instagram @bairstowalex where I post some pictures.
Cheers ✌🏻

มุมมอง 8204 ปีที่แล้ว
Waking up at 5am for 30 days is part 4 of my 30 day habit challenges this time I woke up at 5am for 30days. This 5am lifestyle is popular by very successful people, from athletes to entrepreneurs it seems like waking up at 5am for 30 days is the perfect place to start being productive. I have learnt a lot from getting up at 5am everyday and it wasn't what I was expecting. The idea of these chal...
I am a Procrastinator and here is how to finally overcome procrastinating
มุมมอง 2.1K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I am a Procrastinator and I have been for a long time. I'm pretty sure ever since I was at school I've searched for ways to stop procrastination and how to finally overcome procrastination. So I decided to make this video to explain some procrastination tips so you know how not to be a procrastinator. Procrastination can lead to things such as a low self and depression so I knew this would be a...
Sometimes things don't go your way. Even when you're searching for a sunrise.
มุมมอง 2884 ปีที่แล้ว
Sometimes things don't go your way in life. It's just a fact of life. You can plan to do something as simple as searching for a sunrise. Even a sunrise just don't go your way. Emma came up with an idea of getting up at the crack of dawn, I mean the crack of dawn 3am..., and getting up to a high point and watch the sunrise. So we looked at the weather forecast and found a 48 hour period of clear...
Run 5K everyday for a month | Running 5K for 30 days Challenge
มุมมอง 84K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Challenge: Run 5K everyday for a month. I hate running, and running hates me. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone with exercise and running 5K for 30 days seemed like a challenge to match. So why 5K? I wanted to keep it short, under half an hour so my body could deal with the impact of trying to run 5K everyday for a month. I set myself a target of doing it in under 25 minutes. A reasonable ...
Cold Shower everyday for 30 days
มุมมอง 8774 ปีที่แล้ว
Ok, this was horrendous. Having a cold shower everyday for 30 days was my latest 30 day challenge. I wanted to do something which would get me out of my comfort zone while in lockdown. Obviously, there are not many things you can do! I wanted to do something I find ordinary (like showering) and make it extraordinary (by making is cold!) so a cold shower everyday for 30 days idea was born... I'v...
what does HAY FEVER feel like...?
มุมมอง 1.8K4 ปีที่แล้ว
What does hay fever feel like? Ever since I was 5 years old I've felt the symptons of hay fever. But it can happen to a lot of people at anytime, so what does hay fever feel like? It can start with a sneeze and end up being laid up in bed. Hayfever can really take it out of you. It can feel like very mild some days and aggressive others. Hay fever is the bodys ammune system fighting pollen whic...
I let Emma cut my hair... It didn't go as planned!
มุมมอง 4514 ปีที่แล้ว
I needed a hair cut. I had no other option but to let Emma do it. Turns out you do need training to cut hair... If you ever fancy letting your other half cut your hair then DON'T (unless they're trained) I had to rescue this trim myself! #CovidCut
Squirrel picnic table... Who made the best one?
มุมมอง 4984 ปีที่แล้ว
Fancy making a Squirrel picnic table? Me and Emma did. It was sunny. There were hungry squirrels. They need a squirrel picnic table right? So we thought, "LET'S HAVE A COMPETITION ON WHO CAN MAKE THE BEST SQUIRREL PICNIC TABLE!" No squirrels will come by our garden and have no where to sit! All we used were some old wood and screws to make our squirrel picnic table! Maybe it's time for you to g...
How to stay sane during lockdown... or how I try to...
มุมมอง 1424 ปีที่แล้ว
How to stay sane during lockdown... It is difficult for most of us now. Lockdown means lockdown. I wanted to create a small film about how being in lockdown can affect you and how to find some happiness in this boring indoor time. If someone would have said to me, "Alex you're going to spend time at home, able to watch Netflix, make videos and just be lazy." I would of laughed and said no chanc...
How to bake a Power Loaf | Could I do the challenge? | Bake with me
มุมมอง 1034 ปีที่แล้ว
Ever want to know how to bake a power loaf? Last week I put a post out asking for any ideas or videos they wanted to see. My friend Porle messaged me saying he had the perfect challenge. He sent me an awesome video challenging me to bake a power loaf so I thought I'd share it with you all! I have never heard of a power loaf prior to this and I honestly thought it was going to be a joke of some ...
Social media detox for 30 days | I quit social media for a month!
มุมมอง 1.1K4 ปีที่แล้ว
So here it is... a digital detox for 30days, I quit social media for 30 days, no apps anywhere to be found. I've been wanting to quit social media for a while and have a digital detox as a social experiment and see if it was more of a habit than anything. Social media is a massive part of our lives on a day to day basis. We scroll, click and watch hours and hours of content every single day and...
The Art of doing Nothing
มุมมอง 1704 ปีที่แล้ว
The Art of Doing Nothing is a video about doing nothing. If someone asked me what I've done today then the answer is nothing. I think it's a man thing to say... But we still have 24 hours in the day to kill so here is what my day of "nothing" went. All shot with a first-person view. I'm trying not to go crazy from being cooked up all day and these videos are one of the few things I'm trying to ...
Attempting to be David Attenborough... It didn't go as planned... | Isolation Daily Vlog #7

I love watching any David Attenborough documentary. Blue Planet, Frozen Planet, Planet Earth, everything! So I attempted to be a wildlife filmmaker today. Charged all my batteries and I was ready to tell an amazing story. I managed to get 5 hours of footage so here it is... There is a plot twist... Disclaimer, I had a mare with my autofocus or lack of it... Make sure you subscribe! #AlexBairsto...

Thanks for the video, Alex! Some good points here. One thing that helps me is really expensive filters for my furnace/AC and change them about every 2-3 weeks. When nature turns it on in fall, I feel like death is coming. Really. Like Im going to die
More of this. 👍
Great video! Some key points were highlighted that I hadn't heard anyone else discuss. Thank you!
Very cool looking shoes, mate. LOL. 😀
Yaas I'm 6km
Its took me 6 months on and off to pull off a 18:24 5km pb.
Smashed it mate, i run a 5k in about 21 minutes
Underrated
Good job mate !! hahaha . Australia here, just getting back into it... and its bloody summer !! Best 5km's were 22 ish, currently on the 25 mark. but yeh its hot. 30c average when im running. There is guys passing me ....
What weight did u finish at the end of the challenge
HOW MUCH IS YOUR WEIGHT ???
how did you avoid shin pain? I only do 2 runs a week even then I get shin splints especially on my left leg.
How the hell you have only 501 subscribers?
Check Altra. Great shoes. Much wider toebox than other brands. If you get numb I guess you get poor circulation in your feet.
Nice video, but rest days are really important for improvement 😇
You must promise to remember us early subscribers when you blow up
My pb in 20:11 for 5k
Like sub 30min for 5k would be unfit... 🤣 I am sorry but I had to stop watching after that announcement. When I did start to jog I had over 45min for it. 😘👌
Great content. Keep up the good work :)
Great Video 🙌🏻👍
Really enjoy your videos!
Thanks Amy
youtube algorithm is not kind on you, my friend!
You’re telling me!
Last year I was starting to really see improvement,I am 53 yes and was down to 25 mins 3 miles ,did 12 miles 1 hr 52 comfortably, but then injury ,back now but am trying to mix my training up ,hopefully get back to my best ,I am genuinely amazed I manage to get there in the first place
My 5k was 19.56
I clicked like as soon as I heard the Yorkshire accent 😁
21 min
Enjoyed that seeing your journey to hit your goal!
My best is 21:48 any tips to go sub 21?
Great vid mate!
Really interesting video, especially as I'm trying to do something similar. Did you notice much difference in your body weight? did your eating habits improve? Did my 5k PB last week at 23.12 so was chuffed with that but it was on a flat track which makes a massive difference. Think I would struggle to run 5k in under 25 mins with steep inclines.
Me as a cross country runner like😂. Light workkkk
I have never run 5k before just Started my first run at 32.25min after almost 3 weeks later did my personal best so far at 25.85min. doing runs twice a week giving ample recovery time.. but planning for at least 3 runs a week hopefully if fitness holds in good stead..
I deleted the FB app March 2020. I still have an account but as I don’t have the app and have to check via browser naturally I only look once or twice a week. Really noticed what was being shown to me was very different! Along with the fact I can still communicate with all the people I actually want to still.
If you want to speak to someone you will find a way! I know loads of people who have removed Facebook from their lives
Getting up early is way easier in summer. Great time to get out run/cycle. See way more blue skies that way! Half the time it’s turned grey and over cast by 9am 🤣 That said getting up early in winter is important so you can make the most of the daylight hours. Get stuff out the way early.
Great video mate. Glad this hit the algo and got you some well deserved recognition :)
I just did couch to 5k with no running experience. My first official 5k I recorded on Strava was 27:36!! Im super happy with this considering my experience and will aim for sub 25min within the next couple of weeks :)
Well done! My 5km PB is 18:09 but I could never imagine knocking almost 5mins off my time in 30 days. Very impressive improvement 👍 Good quality video too. Keep it up and 500 subs will come round in no time!
My fastest Run was already 20:50min
Super vlog and great effort do you mind me asking how much weight you lost?
Nice challenge mate, good video edits and good results from this challenge. Well done buddy👌🏼
Great quality! Great challenge as well! Keep it up
Nice Channel Alex! the main thing you want to prioritize is you're energy, so that you can aline it with you're sleep schedule and the things you do trough the day. this it key to get the most out of life.
Thanks for the tips!
Excellent stuff mate! 5 min PB is no joke!!
Well in mate this is class!! I have just started a 365 challenge where I have to run a minimum of 3km everyday for a whole year, if anyone wants to follow my journey, i'm doing an Instagram blog... instagram.com/runningman.365/
Hey man! It almost sounds like you might have Chronic Exertional Syndrome (like me)! It’s exercise induced and causes tightness and pain in your calves and foot numbness. Depending on my running fitness my feet go numb around the same time during my run and then they come back and I’m usually able to finish my run without them going numb again. I currently have PFS (a type of runners knee) most likely stemming from a random half-marathon I did without much prep work. So I’m waiting to try a chiropractor and see if that works (I obviously wouldn’t be able to see if it works until I can run again) but the other option is surgery which I want to avoid. Go see a doctor though if you continue to have tightness/pain in your calves and foot numbness! Anyways have fun with running and be safe!
Hi Alex, keep up the good work. Is that the M62 flyover I saw you running over?
Do you mean Manchester????? I'm from India and I've been to Manchester. I thought it was M62 as well. I've seen this route.
you're gonna make it big, love your videos man
Hope so!
I'm similar level of fitness and I completed the challenge of 30k x 30day mountain bike rides (off road). The hardest bit was finding the time each day. Think i need to have a go at this challenge
U need rest days
I don’t even know you but I loved every second of this video. Thanks a lot my guy 🙌🏽
I appreciate that!
running is addictive , u say u hate it but somehow u cant break up with it
