i love this series! when you run out of lines, i’d love to learn more secrets of the metro system- like all the different train wraps that exist, the design changes from the old model cars to the new models, and more historic events that are related to the metro. research i could do on my own, sure, but you capture facts in these videos so well! i’m a relatively new metro rider, but a PG County native. i watch these videos on my metro commute!! i got so excited when i discovered these having just started regular metro-ing! Thanks for all the work you put in these videos.

I worked at the TJ Maxx from when the Mazza galleria was thriving to my stores last day. It was creepy seeing the building get emptier and emptier. Eventually it was vacant except us and you could tell people were hiding in the mall bathrooms. We eventually locked the mall entrance. I remember going through the now abandoned metro entrance.

You missed a really good secret of the Red Line at Ft. Totten - shortly before they finished the Green line all the way through, there was a time that you could get a Yellow Line train at Greenbelt, and it would take a transfer track just before it pulled into the Ft. Totten station that would take you up to the Red Line and down to Mt. Vernon Sq (I got off at Union Station at the time) to join the Yellow Line again. I believe that they only did this during the morning and evening rush hours. You can see where the transfer line comes up on Google Earth here: 38°56'55"N 77°00'03"W and where it joins the red line just south of there: 38°56'49"N 77°00'00"W.
