Glitchless speedrun, no clips, no slope jumps, just good old fashioned sequence breaks. Lots of room to save time- hopefully can sub 20 sometime soon.

Very entertaining run! I assume your splitting device is trained to auto-split once it hears the "level complete" sound effect? That's a nice setup.
I actually have no idea how its setup but it is amazing. Talented folks in the OpenMBU discord made it.

nice video, but ur too late. i already beat this game in the 90s, so i completed it before u which means that im faster.
I'm not so sure, my 4 year old self moved to Japan June 14th 1994 to be the first to beat this game. The recording is lost to time sadly

Why did Mario survive at 20:00?
Hitboxes are a little weird here- we believe the spring is moving too quick and ducking makes mario's hitbox small enough where the game just doesnt detect him getting hit by the spring.

Dude you killed it. Shout out to the YT algorithm for putting this in my recommended. I played this game a ton as a kid and I wish more people remembered it. It was hard as hell for 5 y/o me. Congrats!

I can not get through the corner on the first level on an emulation without a controller it's killen me
if you are talking about the clip at the start of the first level - its probably the hardest clip in the run. you need the speed strafing left and then press down at the right time- you cant really force it like most other clips. hope this helps!
@@PTO1. Im running it on a phone on psxe or w.e. app I need a controller it's so hard to do anything with touch screen buttons. This was my absolute favorite childhood game never knew of half of the speed runs I figured out lax level 1 back on PS1 on accident

There is definitely some things performed in this run many people might say are glitches lol, but I'm glad you liked it. I wouldn't say I take requests but people can always ask :)

This is my favorite gba game, haven't really had any chance to play it i almost 5 years though, unfortunately haven't had a Gameboy in almost that long.

@@lemoncitrine7023 Its not a slope jump I'm just jumping. If it was a slope jump it would be a lot easier - im just jumping into a spot and trying to strafe and basically bounce high enough to get to the top
