What about horizontal or landscape placements?
Thanks for your message @RTWtravelguidez! :) Landscape + square are mostly used for Desktop, my experience is that Meta doesn’t prioritise these placements as much. BUT if you wanted a landscape template, you could download my free template + turn it 90 degrees so you have the guidelines for Landscape + cropped to a square. Hey everyone! Quick heads-up about a brand-new feature in Google Ads that wasn’t covered in this video. Google has introduced the Google Ads User-Provided Data Event, which you can find in Tag Manager > Google Ads > Google Ads User-Provided Data Event. Normally, we use the data layer for enhanced conversions, which involves setting up custom triggers and variables to pass user-provided data for tracking. This approach works great but can be a bit complex for beginners. With this new feature, Google has simplified things by letting you create an event directly in Tag Manager, where you can add user-provided data (like form submissions) and associate it with conversions. Here’s the scoop from my perspective: ✅ It simplifies the setup process for enhanced conversions by using an event instead of relying solely on the data layer. ✅ This feature allows you to directly associate user-provided data (e.g., form submissions) without using a data layer, making tracking more intuitive. ✅ We’ve installed this new event for our clients and are experimenting with it. So far, it looks like a more user-friendly alternative that still delivers reliable tracking. It’s not a drastic overhaul, but it seems like Google’s push to make enhanced conversions more accessible and easier to implement. Both the traditional data layer method and this new event approach seem to work, but this might be a better option if you’re looking for simplicity. This new method seems geared toward making enhanced conversions easier to implement. It's been pointed out that you may not be seeing the same thing as I'm showing here so wanted to share the pages I'm looking at: This page for a Performance Max Campaign: support.google.com/google-ads/answer/14530211?hl=en For other campaigns, here are the image guidelines: support.google.com/adspolicy/answer/10347108?hl=en There is a big differentiation in the type of campaign you're using so just be aware :) We're still using edited graphics in our G ads and they’re not being flagged, I've just been looking at other companies and there is still usage of more edited-graphic ads in their ad libraries so it’s definitely dependant on the type of campaign you use. I’ll update here if we start seeing any different results with our graphic ads. I really appreciate all of your feedback and apologies for not making this super clear. I'm looking at the google guidelines for their pmax campaign images right now and at about 8:50 you're saying the heavily edited images are ok but on my end it has a red x above the heavily edited images and "not allowed". otherwise great video, thanks!

@@JerryDreadlocks Well I feel silly haha, you're 100% right, I was looking at the link the marketing people had sent for me to create images (without much direction so that's why I found myself on your video) the link they sent was the one I was looking at, not sure why because I'd been requested to make images for Performance Max campaign. Bro, im facing some error can you help me, i made conversion in MCC, account now its not showing me in my personal google ads i tried to give access or allow that conversion to appear in my personal ads account but i can't find it, thank you
Hey @@maktoumhabib522 I’m sorry to hear that dude! Sometimes conversions can also take 24 hours to appear on the Google suite so waiting is sometimes an (annoying) solution. If it’s still not appearing, try: 1. Use the DEBUG mode (click PREVIEW in top right) in Google Tag Manager and go through the conversion process 2. After you’ve done this, is it being labelled as ‘Tag Fired’ or ‘Tag Not Fired’? 3. If you’re seeing the conversion listed as ‘Tag Not Fired’, there is a connection issue. 4. You mentioned that you’re trying to link the conversion from your personal ad account to another ad account, so another question to ask is, is the g.tag from your personal account also installed on the website where the conversion is taking place? 5. Try checking if the conversion action is set to “shared” in your Google Ads account under the settings. 6. You might also need to re-link the accounts or re-import the conversions. 7. There could be an issue with you linking a conversion across these accounts - could you create the same conversion in the MCC account you mentioned and see if this works? 8. If you’re still struggling, reach out to a Google Rep who can debug this with a technical team with you. @JerryDreadlocks , I created a new tag, with new conversion id and label, when I try in debug mode, when I do purchase i see it's written (tag fired than says tag tracking failed) like didn't get fired, it's complicated

What I want, is in my booking software (like Calendly) to actually record which ad campaign the customer clicked on. That way, a year year later, I can calculate how much a specific customer purchased from, and then I can calculate propper ROI and see how successful a particular campaign was by aggregating the results.

This is good insight. I am also small content creator with mainly some faceless content, and I started posting bunch of TikTok videos lately. The thing that worked best for me was giving my account small push in terms of followers, views and likes using Fame-Ster for a small price which later you easily return. This triggered organic growth and my channel exploded with views.

I’ve not run it on my own IG page (as I've not built it up enough but the clients we’ve done it for have had some of the following results: The results we've seen: - CPC onto IG profile: £0.03 - £0.15 - Conversion rate of traffic to follow (depending on targeting): 3% - 15% - Follow:Unfollow Ratio: 2:1 - 5:1 I hope that helps! :)

How can I track utm for Calendly with gtm?
If your ad drives traffic to your Calend.ly page, you can utilise a UTM in your Meta and Google Ads, and the data will go into your Google Analytics account @emiliasklabinsky1866. For example, my favourite UTM to use for Meta to see the data in Google Analytics is: Facebook_Ads&{{placement}}&{{adset.name}}&{{ad.name}}&AdCampaign={{campaign.name}} In Google Analytics, this works really nicely so see the data around each ad that drove results from your calendly :)

Very good spot @emiliasklabinsky1866! :) Here's how I would do this: 1. Go to the Variables Section 2. Add a New Variable: Press the “+” button to add a new variable. 3. Select User Provided Data: From the list, choose “User Provided Data” and set it to Automatic Collection. 4. Configure Enhanced Conversions: If you’re using enhanced conversions: In the User Provided data Variable, make sure to check options to include product-level sales data and new customer data. Set these to “Data Layer” which will ensure data sources are aligned :) I hope that helps!
