bro, your videos really helped me return to my survival world, they're amazing, is there a way to do a full automatic farm for low end PC in early game? you know... like.. the minimum moving pieces and the minimum material but with lot of plants?
@@aserfuller377 i have a tutorial for a simple auto farm on this channel, you can just expand that one with more pumps on the sides or more pistons to make it go further. Thanks for the comment!

Very nice work. I do feel like those 3 spudguns at the front are kinda a, waste but i imagine making them into simple turrets would require redesign of a Big portion of the front. Still great. I noticed you are using fant mod, would be great to see how much you could minimize this base using ecslusively parts from that mod
@@hrtIss I agree about the spudguns, only use i see is against farmbots. I have a fant mod mobile base half built, but i encountered some glitches that really stopped my progress, i might try to go at it again. Thanks for the comment!
@@loneroadreedb2902 What glitches did you encounter? Maybe there is a way to work around them
@@hrtIss it was with the vacuum pipes, so i made an interconnected system with all the resources being crafted into the same storage but i dont know ig it was too many things connected or something because the items started going to the wrong places and things just glitched.
@@loneroadreedb2902 From what I understand you wanted to have resources be sorted to each different chest right? You could try using fant pump pipe for one way with whitelist for some items and second one outgoing with no filter. I personally stopped trying to filter and sort items when fant introduced Storage Manager because its very reminiscent of Simple Storage Network from minecraft - and imo thats the best way to use big storages. So whenever I make a new system I basically just have autocrafter, storage manager and 1 dump chest available to use
@@hrtIss i should try the storage manager, i am using pump pipes thats the part that glitched i belive, if i can later i'll upload what i have to the workshop and you csn check it if you want, i might have placed something the wrong way without realising.

you could prevent a raid from happening by covering all of the surrounding area in an easy to get block like the bubble block, although it would take a while and be very ugly if you did use a block like the bubble block, plus a raid farm can be useful. if not, then you could build some wall around this farm, then you could have single farm plots just outside of the wall so that when creatures come to attack, they will always attack that single farm outside, then it will be much easier to defend these single crops than this giant farm. you could have sensors around these single crops and then when it detects something it just crushes them.

Isn't a monorail cart the way most people automate larger farms? But this one is beautiful and I can't underappreciate the diagnal extending arms. Is this running on max physics?

It's been a while since I last played scrap mechanic. Is there any advantage to that gatling system or is it just for the "cool factor"? Is this system faster and does it allow to plant alternating rows of different crops?
@@PapaLurts Yes to all of the questions. It is faster but theres better ways to do it so its more about looking good than being the fastest. And you can alternate crops.
Slight problem. Those frictionless blocks aren't available in vanilla survival...
Or, more accurately, the low friction mesh blocks.
@@MrMattkid yes, true. I used armored glass blocks while testing and it worked just as good. I just liked the look of the mesh blocks better for the video

Hello, it's been almost a month and I'm still eagerly waiting for your product.
Love this type of machines, with once central "hub" with little modules you plug into it, even awesome to see it used with an automated farm! I love to use this type of machines because if forces you to think of new things, like controls, but it's a shame scrap mechanic doesn't handle collisions between machines very well! Having tried to make similar machines in the past and seeing the game not struggling one bit, it just puts into light how much you know on the game and how great of a machine this is. Kudos to you man, awesome!
