Moral standard doesn't require God. Empathy is the main source of moral.
Empathy contributes to moral behavior but may not suffice for establishing objective moral standards. Some argue that without a transcendent source, such as God, moral values lack an objective foundation.
@@Thelostkey10 They CAN argue, nobody stops them. But it contradicts itself, because God doesn't reward those who are forced to act "good", but those who are good by themselves, without "external force". Being good by yourself makes god's intervention unnecessary. On the other hand, the lack of his intervention in real life negates the "external force" from the very beginning, which obviously lets bad people to keep doing what they already do.
No one keeps the Passover - the new covenant established by Jesus and the disciples like Paul & Peter commanded to keep, but always follows the laws created by men and tells them that it is a holy day!!! Isaiah 29:13
Isaiah 29:13 warns against worship based on human traditions over God’s commands. Jesus and the apostles upheld the New Covenant Passover (Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 5:7-8), emphasizing sincere worship according to God’s Word, not man-made rules.
That is a good Christmas story merry Christmas 🎄
Merry Christmas☃️❄️
Fascinating story?? Not the way you tell it. I was so bored I couldn't go to sleep.
Clearly too fascinating for you to handle, since it kept you awake. Glad I could make an impression
If there is a god, how many? And yes, if god is loving, he’s a dick allowing so much terrible things. So, no, there is no god, only dumb people following stupid religions and cults. We don’t need gods for Morality! Look at religious morality and how terrible it is!
Interesting video. Balanced debate between atheist and believer👍
Thank you for watching ❤️
No
It’s understandable to have doubts, but certainty isn’t always possible when it comes to these big questions. The existence of God is something we may never fully prove or disprove-it’s open to interpretation and belief. There might be a God, or there might not be. The beauty lies in the exploration and the discussion, rather than having all the answers
Why no?
*A Question for Christians* Christians claim that there is only one true god. This one and true god is the god of the bible. Jesus is the son of this one true god, but Jesus is one and the same as the god of the bible. After all there are not two gods, are there? Add to this the holy spirit, and now we have the Trinity, 3 entities in one comprising the one true god. So whether we call it god, or Jesus, we are talking about the one and only entity that is god. Thus having been said, we look at the deeds of this one true god (Jesus). This god, Jesus, drowned almost all the people of earth including millions of infants and babies, burned two cities full of children, cast plagues on entire nations murdering thousands of babies and children, ordered genocide for entire tribes, but allowed the young virgins to live and made them available for mass rape. Are we still talking about the one true god? If yes, does this god have a split personality, one good side and one evil side? Is the good side unaware of the actions of the evil side? The question is: Why do Christians worship and pray to such a genocidal maniac? I would love to have an answer.
We can`t explain and understand everything. But from what science tells us we can exclude certain crudes hypothesis about the functionality of the universe. One such hypthesis is the assumption of a supranatural designer, who designely created all plants and animals on earth, as well as everything what exists. This belief is in contratiction with the evolutionary theory, which tells us that evolution has been directed by random events in the history of earth.
You’re right that science explains much about how the universe works, and evolution is well-supported. However, some see evolution as the mechanism a designer might use, making science and belief potentially compatible. Science addresses the how, but questions about the why or the origin of everything remain open to philosophical or theological interpretation.
@@Thelostkey10 Science explains the how, and often can also explain the origin, but it seldom concerned with the why. Theology/philosophy is not usually based on tangible evidence, it is a belief system.
@maylingng4107 You make a good point that science often explains the ‘how’ and occasionally the ‘origin,’ but I would argue that the ‘why’-whether through theology, philosophy, or even existential inquiry-is a reflection of human curiosity that transcends tangible evidence. While belief systems may not rely on empirical data, they address questions about purpose and meaning, which are just as significant to many people as physical evidence is to science. Perhaps the interplay between science and belief is less about contradiction and more about addressing different aspects of the human experience.

Finally, an unbiased, informative video about the 2 sides of atheism vs theism.
Thanks. It’s crucial to explore both sides of such a fascinating topic.
The trees were actually decorated prior to Christmas becoming a holiday for Yule and Winter Solstice holidays.
Absolutely. The tradition also goes back to ancient celebrations of Yule and the Winter Solstice
This is the kind of debate we need more of-respectful, thought-provoking, and balanced. Great work
Thank you. It’s refreshing to see appreciation .
Christians don’t want to debate. They just spew their lies as they think facts. And many are very disrespectful!
Wow, this video really made me think! The way you presented both sides of the debate was so balanced and thought-provoking. Great job tackling such a deep topic
Thank you.I’m glad it resonated with you. Balanced debates are always worth exploring

Santa Claus is actually an amalgamation of Odin and St Nicholas. As Odin was a sky-father who was celebrated during Yuletide. Only his chariot was pulled by two mountain goats instead of reindeer.
You’re absolutely right! The modern image of Santa Claus draws from a mix of mythologies and traditions. Odin, as the Norse Allfather, was indeed a central figure during Yuletide celebrations, and his eight-legged horse, Sleipnir, is often seen as a precursor to Santa’s flying reindeer. St. Nicholas, on the other hand, was a real-life Christian bishop known for his generosity, particularly toward children. Over time, these figures blended, incorporating folklore, mythology, and Christian tradition, eventually evolving into the Santa Claus we recognize today. The goats pulling Odin’s chariot (Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr) also hint at the shared themes of winter, gift-giving, and magical journeys. A fascinating fusion of history and myth.
The music of the original version of Jingle Bells is quite different from the version usually sung today. Here is a link to one performance of it. I think you'll agree that this is MUCH nicer than what we usually hear. There are several others, some of which falsely claim to be the original. I think this is the best sung, though it doesn't include all of the verses. th-cam.com/video/sWl3FCrcQWk/w-d-xo.html. Also, here is a complete one with the score. th-cam.com/video/3TV2JchT6ks/w-d-xo.html
It’s fascinating how the original version of “Jingle Bells” differs from the modern rendition we’re so familiar with! The linked performance indeed offers a refreshing and elegant take on the classic. The historical nuances and melody of the original really capture a unique charm. Thank you for sharing-it’s always intriguing to revisit such timeless works in their authentic form

If Yeshua (Jesus) didn't start convicting me hard at age 14 and later about Christmas and trees, maybe I wouldn't be so passionate 4 decades later. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Jeremiah, the major Hebrew prophet, lived from around 650 to 570 BC and wrote about idols (including trees) from this era and the future. Jeremiah 10 is a prophetic passage primarily focused on denouncing idolatry and emphasizing the power and sovereignty of the true God. Did the current day Christmas trees become the idols warned about in Jeremiah? 1599 Geneva Bible This is closer to the original text that predates the 1611 King James edited version. Jeremiah 10:1-5 (1) Hear ye the word of the Lord that he speaketh unto you, O house of Israel. (2) Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not afraid for the signs of heaven, though the heathen be afraid of such. (3) For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest (which is the work of the hands of the carpenter) with the axe. (4) And another decketh it with silver, and with gold: they fasten it with nails and hammers that it fall not. (5 )The idols stand up as the palm tree, but speak not: they are borne because they cannot go: fear them not, for they cannot do evil, neither can they do good. Deck means decorate. V5. KJV and NKJ says palm tree. NIV and ESV says idols while NLT says gods. Note: this is no different from a totem, or an owl, or any other kind of (inanimate) idol. But, when you bow or kneel to give offerings (place presents) to an idol or deity, or when you bow or kneel to receive blessings, favor or gifts from an idol or deity, that's called idolatry. Note: there isnt a birthdate to be found without doing a lot of digging as there was supposed to be less emphasis on the birth of Yeshua (Jesus) as He came to die to pay for our sins. This day (Christmas) didnt give you Salvation as Him dying on the cross did. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Saturnalia is an ancient Roman festival and holiday in honour of the god Saturn, held on December 17 of the Julian calendar and later expanded with festivities through December 19. By the 1st century B.C., the celebration had been extended through December 23, for a total of seven days of festivities. The holiday was celebrated with a sacrifice at the Temple of Saturn, in the Roman Forum, and a public banquet, followed by private gift-giving, continual partying, and a carnival atmosphere that overturned Roman social norms: gambling was permitted, and masters provided table service for their slaves as it was seen as a time of liberty for both slaves and freedmen alike. A common custom was the election of a "King of the Saturnalia", who gave orders to people, which were followed and presided over the merrymaking. The gifts exchanged were usually gag gifts or small figurines made of wax or pottery known as sigillaria. The poet Catullus called it "the best of days". Saturnalia was the Roman equivalent to the earlier Greek holiday of Kronia, which was celebrated during the Attic month of Hekatombaion in late midsummer ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Yule or yuletide (tide = time) is the pagan holiday that was dubbed as Christmas. Yule 12 days, typically Dec. 21st - Jan. 1st. Yule was celebrated by Wiccans and many other Pagans and started in 5-6th century CE in what is now Germany (within the Roman territory). Norse celebrations of Yule included evergreen trees, particularly fir trees, to symbolize the perseverance of life through winter. Yule celebrations also included bonfires, decorating with holly, mistletoe, and the bows of evergreen trees, ritual sacrifices, feasts, and gift-giving. The Norse god Odin is thought to have influenced the development of Santa Claus in several ways, including his white beard, cloaked appearance, and nightly rides through the sky. During the pagan Yuletide festival, Odin was believed to lead the Wild Hunt, a ghostly procession through the sky. (pre-dates 12th century BCE) How to decorate a yule tree... String your garlands with pinecones and cloves or include them in your centerpiece. Then add string lights, another important symbol for Yule. Using red, green, gold, white, silver, yellow, and blue is also customary. Hmmmm sounds awfully familiar.... ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Under Emperor Constantine, the Roman Catholic Church began celebrating Christmas on Dec. 25 in 336 CE.... hence the mass (or mas). Yule became associated with Christmas around the 9th century, when King Haakon I of Norway passed a law requiring that Yule and Christmas be celebrated on the same day. In the 1840s, Christmas trees were still considered pagan symbols and were not widely accepted in America. New England's Puritan leaders (Protestants) viewed Christmas celebrations as unholy, and the second governor of the pilgrims, William Bradford, tried to stamp out "pagan mockery". Christmas was even illegal in some US locations until Grant recognized it as a Federal holiday in 1870. It is still illegal to celebrate in some Christian countries as it is recognized as a pagan holiday. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Jingle Bells Dashing through the snow In a one-horse open sleigh O'er the fields we go Laughing all the way Bells on bob tail ring Making spirits bright What fun it is to ride and sing A sleighing song tonight! What kind of spirits are is being made bright? Is it from Satan.... I mean Santa? Chestnuts roasting on an open fire Jack Frost nipping at your nose Yuletide carols being sung by a choir And folks dressed up like Eskimos Deck the halls Yep yuletide Remember "I Love Lucy"? Ricky Ricardo sang the song Babalu-Aye. If you sang along with him, you were literally chanting to a king god, Babalu-Aye, literally meaning “Father, Lord of the Earth,”. Be careful chanting to idols and demons (even singing carols that dont align with the bible) and following traditions of men. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Easter... do you celebrate the pagan tradition of Ishtar (goddess of fertility) with bunnies, eggs and baskets filled with toys and candy, or the (Death and) Resurrection of Yeshua and the price He paid for everyones sins for all of time? Team Satan loves to put little twisted distractions into things to take away from the original meaning. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Halloween (aka hallows eve) is satan's high holy day. Keep dressing up and opening doors to the darkness. When you (or kids) dress up any kind of way for Halloween, you (unknowingly or not) go into agreement with the dark side. Passing out scriptures and sharing Yeshua is an awesome way to counter what satan is trying to do. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Romans 14:5-6 (NIV) (5) One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. (6) Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Colossians 2:8 (NIV) See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Revelations 21:8 (NIV) But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” Dont get it twisted.... I absolutely love witnessing people lifting up and worshipping Yeshua (Jesus) in any kind of way. But, when you put the commercialized pagan spin on it, I start to have concerns that you have been misled.
What day was Yeshua born? Zacharias would have served in the 9th week of the new year (Luke 1:8). Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) marks the start of the numbering of a new year in the Hebrew calendar. According to the Mishnah, four different New Years are observed: Rosh Hashanah (the first of Tishrei), the first of Nisan (when the Exodus began), the first of Elul, and Tu BiShvat (the fifteenth of Shevat). In the gregorian calendar, Rosh Hashanah is in late Sept to early Oct. So, that would make the birth of Yohann the immerser (aka John the Baptiser) in Sept (ish). Yohann was 6 months older than Yeshua, as he led the way for the Messiah. Abraham said, God will provide for Himself the Lamb for the burnt offering, my son. (Gen 22: 8) Why was Yeshua born in Bethlehem? Bethlehem (aka Beit Lechum) Is also called the House of Bread Bread of Life had to be born in House of Bread. (John 6:35) David was born in Bethlehem. Root (or seed) of David had to be born in the same city. (Rev 5:5) Bethlehem was the only known birthing place of the sacrificial lambs used for Atonement by the priests of Sanhedrin. (1 Peter 1:18) If you are a deer hunter (or farmer), or maybe know one, you are most likely familiar with the term "Rut". This is when the females are in "heat" and is the mating season for deer, lamb, rams, goats and sheep (same family). This is usually around the 2nd week of Nov to 2nd week of Dec. Who greeted Mary and Joseph? the Shepherds.... When do Shepherds watch over their flock all night? From March until the rainy season, during the lambing (lamb birthing) season. --> And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. (Luke 2:8) --> and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. (Luke 2:7) Tabernacle 9 mos Gestation 9 mos (9 mos - conception to birth) --> The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.... (John 1: 14) The Tabernacle was the symbol of God living among us. Completed Nisan 1 Magi (Priests / Astroligist) --> Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. (Isa 60: 3) The Magi asked King Herod.... Where is he that was born King of the Jews? (Matt 2:2) King Herod 73BC - 4BC. Eclipse March 13, 4BC just before Herods death. Herod killed all of the male babies that were under 2 years old. (Matt 2:16-18) Most scholars agree that Jesus was around 18 months old when they tried to kill him. Then Herod suffered excruciating pains as he was dying. --> "Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the hip. (Isa 60: 4) --> Herds of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah. And all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and incense and proclaiming the praise of the LORD. (Isa 60: 6) Nisan 1 - Spring Equinox Nisan 1 - new moon Nisan 1 - new life Nisan 1 - new beginning Nisan 1 - the word becomes flesh Nisan 1, 6 BC March 20, 6 BC (Dead Sea Scrolls) New Life! Yeshua HaMashiac Jesus, the Messiah is born! Remember Yeshua fulfilled all of the Spring feasts (of Life) when He was here. When he returns, he will fulfill the Fall Feasts (of Harvest). Hence the reference to the last Trump.... - - - - - - - - - - - Hebrews 9:22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Nisan 10 - Day of the Lamb, each family is to take (accept, receive) the lamb to their house to be sacrificed for Atonement. --> The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats. (Ex 12: 5) --> Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month (of Nisan) when all the members of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight. (Ex 12: 6) Nisan 10 - (Sunday) God takes His Lamb to His house (Jerusalem) to be the Sacrificial Lamb of Atonement for our sins. - Palm Sunday - Rode in on donkey - Palm branches were spread for Jesus to enter on and sang hosanna Nisan 11 - (Monday) Mount of Olives Nisan 12 (Tuesday) Nisan 13 - (Wednesday) The Sanhedrin sends the soldiers to arrest Jesus at Garden of Gethsemane in the middle of the night. Nisan 14 (Thursday) Jesus was tried at night (unlawful), whipped, and crucified, and in grave (before 6:00 pm) Nisan 15 - (Friday) Passover, (Moses) (Holy days starts at 6:00 pm on previous day.) Nisan 16 - (Saturday) Holy day Sabbath Nisan 17 - First Fruit (Re-New-ed Life) Yeshua has risen Matthew 12:40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. That sounds magical! Real candles must have created such a warm and enchanting atmosphere.🕯️
