Responded to a comment you left on A&E Live P.D. you made me laugh and I REALLY needed a laugh today. I just got home from a 3 week hospital stay. So, thank you. Although you don’t know me, you still made my day a little bit better. This sounds like something I would enjoy. I have a lot of medical issues. Cystic Fibrosis, immune problems, I’ve had brain surgery, 2 heart surgeries, more lung and kidney surgeries than I can count, have died 4 times, and was even on hospice 6 years ago but was blessed to make it off, and I’m only 34. Even with all this I still say that my life is way better than 2/3 of the people on this planet. It’s because of my family, and my community that I still have my sanity. I also find that giving back is one of the best medications for depression. For the past 6 years I have been leaving bracelets out all over the world for strangers to find, to simply just put a smile on someone else face and kindness back into the world. I have made friends all over the world and I have those people leave a note out in their language and one of my bracelets. I’m trying to get one in all 195 countries and all 50 states before I decide if I want to try my luck at a double lung transplant. I think it is awesome that you teach karate, but I think it’s even more awesome that you are going a step further to help drive home these core values. I have always been of the belief that one should leave this world in just a little bit better of a condition then when they entered it. Keep being the amazing person you are! We need more people like you mentoring the youth of our nations future.
