in my 40s i received an ADHD diagnosis; suddenly, i saw the context for so many past behaviours. My MO was the same as yours: last minute, 1st drafts, but w intense concentration. I now understand that i needed the adrenaline of the make-or-break term paper, the up-against-the-wall-ness of the situation - to focus.

i love the way the clarinets and the voices gather and then diverge, with the piano notes marking the boundary. it seems like a big fuzzy chord stretched out over 4 or so minutes. (i think i have the same problem translating sounds into images / words). but clarinet...i'm very pro clarinet!

i look around my kingdom of crusts and broken things, and it is *so* nice to feel somewhat relatable <g>.

vomit and bodily elimination issues notwithstanding, you sound like you were a really neat kid. there is a board book i used to read to my daughter: "Once upon a time there was a funny dog named Crispin's Crispian. He was named Crispin's Crispian because he belonged to himself." i think you belonged to yourself, and probably still do <g>.

I CANT STAND THE CONMERCIALS. if you push the buttons around the screen, sometimes it will turn off the audio. I feel like they need to be giving us a discount if they want to do that to us.

This is why I fucking love hanging out with them! It’s so fun and fascinating to imagine their inner (and outer) worlds, and to just watch them do their thing.
