I was following the story pretty well until a child popped up in the middle of it. The story became confusing from there.

The problem that I have with this is that her mother wanted to connect back to the daughter because she'd been humiliated in public. Because having that sudden *SNAP* where they go from "I MADE THIS FAMILY!" to crying over the lost opportunities in the span of a heartbeat? That's performance art, not a real change. Mom might be learning, but I'm not sure that it's real.

Stopped watching when the OP stopped Kiam's boss from taking legal action against Kiam because she "wanted to help Kiam". it was bad enough that the AI storybot could not accurately prtray a nine-year-old,but then we're also to believe that a wronged wife would prevent a large corporation from protecting itself from a bad enployee who was suing everyone - including her. PS - The OP would have been served notice separately, instead of learning about it feom a third party. Pinocchio has a LONG LONG way to go before anyone believes it's a real boy.

This is impossible. You can't bequeath debt in a will. If an estate has debts, they are paid in order: 1. Government (taxes, student loans, and if Medicaid paid for long term care - that must be paid too) 2. Bank debt (loans, negative balances, mortgage) 3. Unsecured debt (credit cards, utility bills, etc) The remainder of the estate is then divided per the will unless nothing is left. No heir may receive a dime until all debt is paid. With Government debt especially, the IRS or Treasury will typically freeze the assets until they are paid in full.
