Some days you catch more lures than fish
Thought i better get out on the water before the cold weather rolls in the next couple weeks. Caught a couple largemouth today using a small swimbait with an underspin and managed to find a handful of lures.
Thanks for watching!

Late December spots and smallies with a bobcat and bald eagle spotted.

Great day on the creek, me and Andy caught a bunch of nice fish and had a bald eagle eyeing us as we went under the tree it was perched in. Around the next corner i noticed a bobcat in the distance scurrying out of the creek. Make sure you check out Andy's channel, "Perfect level adventure fishing" A couple small swim-jigs were the ticket for me today. Thanks for watching.
Mid-December creek smallies

Recent rains have the water levels up just a little, with the current moving more than desired in some areas. Any day on the water is a good day, even when the bite is slow. Thanks for watching!

Mad River Adventure 16 bad seat design
มุมมอง 26K12 ปีที่แล้ว
Both seats broke after about half a dozen uses. Why would CSS choose such a flimsy design? The adventure 14 seats have a much better design and i've had that canoe for 4 years now.

Lets Go
👍👍👍🐳
good day of fishing right there
LETS GO..
this may be a long shot but do you have a picture of how you attached the motor to the adventure 16? I'm struggling on how to do it.
Good looking river
Lets GO...
LUCKY
LETS GO!
I got the Adventure14 and the seats are SOOO different but overall the boats look very similar
Same things happened to me before on this river.
Heard That!!!
That's Jasper Dog there
Anybody know the name of the cave out in Woodburn? It's a small hike or yak ride from the low lying bridge.
CSS = Custom shitty seats
I'm planning on buying a troll motor for my adventure 16. I plan on trolling upstream and then paddling back down so that I don't have to move my truck. Do you think 30lb thrust would be enough for something like that?
Sorry long delay, really depends on flow rate, so just try to size accordingly based on what you want to achieve
I don't use the highest speed until around 4:50 in the video fyi.
Bought mine in 2008, both of them actually. I don't determine a tents quality on rain alone. I've seen many cheap ones hold out the rain just fine if your smart. Wind is my determining factor and I have seen many poles snap. Both my chinooks have aluminum poles and they have stood up to some nasty winds so far. Great tent for the price though I would consider it more of a 3 season vs 4, pending on where one lives. I have a coleman 4 season with adjustable venting where these cyclones have nothing to cover the venting on the inside. Still I could see myself using it in the cold Saskatchewan winters.
howd it get in there?
People, farmers dig ponds and stock them with fish.
I'm still kicking
This is a very nice video. Is there any body who can give me an advice how to mount the Motor to the adveture 16 ?
well if you have the flat back type canoe/scanoe it should be as easy as putting the trolling/small gas motor onto the rear of the canoe and tightening the mounting brackets. If you do not have a flat back canoe, then your only option is to buy/build a mounting bracket for your canoe(most are left or right side mounts).
where is this located? county? or even on google maps?
I see my wife has been on here commenting, but no she wasn't drinking, on the other hand i had a couple. About ten minutes later, 4 more sober people came through and 3 of them flipped. I had to help one poor girl that almost got sucked under the tree.
Drinking and kayaking? SMH
where is it?
How long did it take for your zoas to spread all over the rock on the left side of the tank ?
it takes a little while, but if you have the right conditions, zoos will create another every couple of weeks. this tank was set up for about 7 years, probably around 5 or 6 years when the video was shot. you should be able to see the polyps lay down a runner at their feet that will eventually become a polyp
Nope, haven't replaced them yet. I don't really use that canoe much anyway, I'll probably just rig it or buy some kind of foldable seat.
Did you get them replaced? How?
Still use the tent and I believe it was money well spent. We purchased the aluminum poles with ours to shed a couple pounds. Good tent, we've had it in many 4hour plus down pours and it's stayed pretty dry (sligthly moist on floor). Seems to have fairly good quality so far, I would definitely recommend it.
I use the Mad RIver Adenture 16 boat with Suzuki DF 2.5 motor. At 250 kg load and 30% throttle the speed is 10.0 km/h. At full throttle the speed is 11.6 km/h. It took about an hour to feel mysef more or less stable in the boat (I did not use any canoe or kayaks before, however)
this may be a long shot but do you have a picture of how you attached the motor to the adventure 16? I'm struggling on how to do it.
I was seriously considering getting that canoe, I will check to see if the seats are still this way if they are I may opt for the 14 or a different canoe
The trolling motor that i have is a "Water Snake" and the throttle shaft is able to slide back and forth about 6 inches or so. If i have a complaint about the reach of anything, it would be the hard to reach little red springy button that lowers/raises the trolling motor itself. The minn kota 30lb thrust has a much better trim lever by the looks of things. I'll try to make a video soon, but in the mean time maybe try looking at "mad river adventure 16 bad seat design" on for a closer look.
we take out at the 185 bridge, not sure of the put in(can't find my blueways map) maybe 106? sorry its been a while, plus i've moved since then. warren county Kentucky has a bunch of blueway areas.
How far back do you have to reach to drive the boat? Do you think could post a video of you driving the boat? I looked at one this weekend and it seems like a long reach back tot he trolling motor?
That's a shame, you'd think the 16 and 14s would have the same (or better seats). I've had the Passage 14 (css seats) for 2 years with countless trips and never had an issue with them.
Like your video. I have that gun too.
Great place cedar sink me and my wife's fab in the park great video
I like your video. I'm buying this canoe in 2 weeks. I was wonder how fast you go with that 30lb thrust trolling motor? I'm thinking about buying the 40lb thrust trolling motor. Thanks for your help!
did it have hairy antenna? might be a bottlebrush crayfish....
