That is correct, he died in 1982 following a stroke. My videos are not historically accurate, they are just game scenarios and nothing more than that.

That is correct, the power did reach 1800 HP with the (built-in MW methanol-water booster) and the top speed around 690 km/h at 7500 m. I picked the lower stats because the dogfights took place at a low altitude, under 1000 m. The above info I was found in the game so I don't really know how accurate it is.

There are a lot of wonderful airplanes in this game and it is extremely difficult to pick a favorite. For me the Tepmest has a bit of everything and once I learned it's strengths and weaknesses it became my favorite WWII aircraft.

I started to play IL-2 Sturmovik around 2004 and in 2006 I got my hands on the IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946. I did not play in multiplayer because my internet connection as really bad back then but I did finish a lot of campaigns. It is wonderful to hear from someone that was back then on the virtual battlefield having fun among lots of other players. I am happy that this game is still being developed by the grate communities from www.sas1946.com/ and www.mission4today.com. Empecé a jugar al IL-2 Sturmovik en 2004 y en 2006 me hice con el IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946. No jugué en multijugador porque mi conexión a Internet era muy mala por aquel entonces, pero terminé muchas campañas. Es maravilloso saber de alguien que estuvo por aquel entonces en el campo de batalla virtual divirtiéndose entre un montón de otros jugadores. The Bf-109 does have a top speed of 640 km/h (397,678) and a take-off power of 1550 HP. I mentioned the lower values because the fight took place under 7000 m and the MCR of 1300 HP as this was in flight and not take-off. This was my logic but it might be wrong 😂. I am though sure about this mistake, 30 mm is equal to 1.18 in and not what I wrote. Thank you for your comment I appreciate it.

Hi, Yes, this particular version of the game is patched up to 14.3-4. It has the mode UP3_RC4 3.0 and the Selector 3.5.0. I do not have any particular mode installed like: modern weapons, modern engines, etc.

That is a perfectly valid point. In this series I decided to fly my favorite propeller fighter plane against all ACE's that are available in the il-2 Sturmovik 1946 game. Most of the times I am the one who bites the dust, but in some occasions I am the Victor 😁. These rare occasions are the ones that I would like to share with all of you!

That scenario went south so many times with me either getting shot down or losing control and hitting the water. The accuracy of those rockets is absolutely awful I am surprized that I got one on target afterall.

To be honest, I didn't know what VOTV was, but I saw a short TH-cam video about it. I can say that the idea is pretty cool and the gameplay is immersive.
