I've been away for 8 days and worked so hard to make sure everything was out and planted so I didn't need to leave to much for my friend to look after. unfortunately I lost all my annuals that I had planted which leaves me really behind now and having to direct sow and pray to the gods that some may just make it! Nice job..... Where did you source your greenery.... A Forest?....or someone's garden?..... Iv got llayandii trees, doing a home made wreath for the first time, but lost as to where to acquire the foliage... Iv got holly.. Lol...
Hi, most was from my garden, I grow lots of foliage, but I was lucky that someone had dumped lots of greenery on compost heap at our allotments.
Beautiful work ❤
Good job Emma 🙌🏿🙌🏿lucky you where l am in London you are not allowed to grow for profit
My allotments are run by a local farmer, and as long as they are looked after, we can grow most things. The only thing I can't do is sell directly from the plots, so I can't really sell wholesale flowers.
@@EmmaJaynesGarden that is great l wish l can find one of them here in London.l grow mine at home now but l could do with more space.
Beautiful
Thank you!
Im a new subscriber 😊 i love your bouquets they are absolutely beautiful. You're very talented. I love flowers do you have pot plants that you grow for yourself to enjoy?
Hi!! Welcome to my channel! I grown most of the flowers that I use in my bouquets, but rarely have flowers myself as they all get used!
Lovely Emma the blue of the delphiniums and the larkspur with the rudbeckias and sunflowers simply just beautiful, all looking lovely. x
Thank you!!

Looks very beautiful lovely fitting tribute, I like the way you did the three bouquets and bought them altogether to make this funeral tribute. Thank you for sharing x
Thank you, I'm hoping to do a few more funeral videos soon.
Such a beautiful tribute piece ❤
I’ve had that with my statice too! Planted loads of apricot and got pink!!! Glad it’s not just me 😂 where did you get the seeds incidentally? 👀
This was from Chiltons.
What variety of luminous do you have please?
The limonium was ment to be an apricot mix, but is all come out in pink and purple so not sure which it is..
So pretty
Lovely
What size paper please
Hi, I use the kraft paper from Oasis, 50cm wide.
Boa colheita de flores e tudo de bom para você 👍👍
Thank you 💐
Oh those gorgeous deer hard to be upset with them but so maddening when they eat everything in sight, shame they don't like slugs!! 😆looks like you've found a great deterrent good job done.
I saw them in the field opposite yesterday. They are very majestic, but they can stay in that field!
Does this help spur the plant on to once again growing taller side stems? I am at the point where they are 6ft tall and the stems are now quite short. Asking in advance of next years harvesting! Look forward to them every year and like to know how to get a longer season from them. They seem to peter out for me by this time of year. Thanks!
The more you cut, the more you will get, but the stems will get shorter as the plant matures. I would succession plat to get a longer period of flowers. Sow some in November, some in February, and some end of march.
Like the way you're mom lets nature dictate what flowers where the campion looks amazing. Pretty garden. Thank you for sharing with us.
beautiful!! what size is your stamp
The large stamp was 100mm x 100mm from the English stamp company.
I hope you are feeling better. Its so disheartening when things like this happen, you’ve nurtured them and then they are gone, and there are so many slugs this year. Keep looking on the bright side of all the things that are going well, it will all be ok. 🌸.
Oh Emma, I’m so sorry for you, it’s heartbreaking when you work so hard for it all. Sending big hugs 😊
Thank you!
Oh no Emma. I understand your pain. Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago. And I was only gone for 4 days! Sow lots of quick growing heat loving seeds. Sunflowers, zinnias and some marigolds for September
I've re sown and fingers crossed they all come up!
You're not behind anyone else. You'll catch up ❤I think the slugs are staging a revolution!
Ah I know how hard flower farming is ,we have lost alot too . Keep going , it's hard when you feel rough . Good luck
Thank you!
That is gutting 😢 keep going! I have been very lucky with the slugsand snails unlike most people but have had never-ending mole problems, aphids and now my dog has been trashing beds hunting for voles and mice 😡😬
So sorry to hear this. I completely feel your pain ❤
Sorry to hear this Emma, after such hard work nature can be cruel, every year is different, chin up you will find a way forward, but understand why you are upset 🌻
With all the setbacks we endure at times I sometimes wonder..... Common Flower Farm lost heaps due to slugs so brought in ducks 🧡
Thanks so much for sharing a beautiful garden tour today with us always have a good garden tour. Hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie.
Lovely garden 💐
You have deer, I have wallabies
Lovely Thanks. Would be nice to have another look later in the year if possible.
Good luck with your experiment! Could you try putting cardboard under the beds you make as well, so the weeds don’t come through there too?
Yes, I think I will give that a go. Now I have a bit more cardboard. Thanks
Very pretty bouquet those spanish bluebells look gorgeous.
I've never seen anyone wrap a bouquet upside down. It looks amazing!
Give it a go! It makes sure all the flowers and foliage are not squashed.
Wow those Spanish bluebells are massive compared to mine 😂
They are monsters this year! Bigger than the stocks!
Hi Emma, do you know the thickness of the paper at all? Mine is so thick that I'm really struggling! Also could you recommend any decent secateurs as mine keep breaking. Thank you 💚
Hi sorry for the delay in replying, the paper I use is 50gsm I get mine from oasis floral. as for secateurs I tend to use which ever I can find in the shop. I go through them quite a lot I think I need to look in to this myself!
@EmmaJaynesGarden thank you so much that is so helpful! I keep looking at the niwaki snips...maybe we both need to treat ourselves! Meant to last years!
@steph_mx Yes, I am going to have a look at them!
Ooh I didn’t know you could even get Spanish bluebells, they are pretty fabulous eh
Check out Charles Dowding videos, to save any digging, you pile on cardboard and then I think it’s 15 cm of compost and you can plant straight into it, and helps the soil recover too.
I'll give it ago for some of my annual beds as I dont want to over dig the ground.
Too much bloody ad lib talking… get to the point!
Rude! You don't have to watch the videos!
Beautiful thanks for sharing
Thank you
Very Pretty. You made it look so easy. I don't think I'd have to confidence to hold the bouquets upside down though 😆 Thank you for sharing.
Gina, don't worry as long as you have tied them off it wont do them any harm and it makes sure that all the petals and leaves don't get bent when you wrap them. give it a go!!
Thank you for this helpful video!! They are so beautifully wrapped!! Looks gorgeous!!! Greetings from denmark!!! 🤗🌻
Hi! thank you for watching!
Yesssssss! The video I’ve been waiting for 😍🙌🏻
thank you!
Thank you for tips and tricks! Watching you from the southern most tip of mainland Canada :)
Hello! my brother lives over in Canada, Vancouver its so beautiful! thanks for watching.
Thank you for the catch up this week, glad you're feeling better, had to smile when you were at the garden centre you did very well avoiding the plants and seeds, My husband says to me you can't possibly want anymore (oh how wrong can a man be!) off to the garden centre tomorrow to have a look at those timeless roses. Jam jar posies look beautiful. Happy growing have a good week. x
Thank you! Have fun shopping!!
Thank you for the allotment tour, I'm having an awful time with those pesky slugs eating my daffodils too! Hedgehogs have woken up but not yet doing their job eating them 😆Been a a decent day weather wise here in Worcestershire need a few more like it the ground is still so wet. Have a great week.
Yes, it was so lovely yesterday afternoon. Spring is coming slowly! it's definitely slugs, and snails caught them in the act the other day!
Thank you for the tour, the tulips did make me laugh. I'm a bit envious of the Lady Emma Hamilton Rose, it's one I've always wanted but David Austin has discontinued it! I have to make do with Lady of Shallot who' s blooms are a bit smaller.
I love the rose. it's so pretty, I hope it flowers well this year. The tulips... 🤦♀️not my best work.
I love your videos . I think you've inspired me. I pick up the keys to my allotment tomorrow. I literally ran out of room in my garden. I've just retired. So this year, im going to see what I grow and give bouquets away to family and friends .this is my practice year . Thank you so much for the videos.❤
Amazing! How exciting! I love my allotments. Yes, get some seed in the ground and enjoy 😀
