Hi all, thanks for checking out the channel! I am just a guy who loves cars and bikes wanting to share my passion with the world. In the fleet right now we've got an '03 E46 wrapped in Miami Teal, a '99 Suburban with a 6L LS swap, an '86 Cutlass with a 400 SBC and lastly the 2020 KTM 390 Adventure.
So far I have a bunch of how to/repair videos but want to start making more vlog style videos in the future.

Building a 2-Stroke Motorized Bicycle
มุมมอง 2013 ปีที่แล้ว
In this tutorial I install an 80-cc 2-stroke motor kit I bought from Amazon (link below) on an older style mountain bike. This tutorial should work for most if not all 80cc 2-stroke kits as from what I can tell they are all very similar. Keep in mind that some aspects of the install do depend on the bike that you are using, it is best to use an old V-frame style mountain bike. Other bikes will ...
Reinstalling E46 Exhaust Header Studs (Technique)
มุมมอง 2.6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
When removing the stock 325i exhaust manifolds all but 2 of my studs came out, locked to the nuts with rust. After cleaning and separating the nuts and studs they were ready to go back in. Due to the studs being fully threaded they can be a bit of a pain to reinstall and in this video I go through an easy way to do so. If you do plan on installing headers on your 323/325/328/330i, I have found ...
SBC Cylinder Head Repaint Time-lapse

A quick repaint of my Proline cast iron cylinder head (2.06 intake) after having it repaired. The motor is a 400 SBC.
E46 Headliner Removal (How To)
มุมมอง 6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
The headliner in my E46 was sagging and I wanted to give the interior of the car a different feel so I decided to pull it as well as the other trim pieces out of the car to get reupholstered. This job is pretty easy and only requires basic tools to do, it shouldn't take more than a couple hours and can be easily done alone. I demonstrate the process with the windshield removed (I had to pay som...
Using a Radiator From an Automatic in a Manual E46
มุมมอง 3.9K3 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I explain the differences between a radiator out of an automatic E46 and one out of a manual. Below are the part numbers for the manual expansion tank mounting plate (you need this if you don't have one) and the expansion tank itself (autos and manuals use the same tank). As I explain, you need to use the drain plug from the manual radiator in a manual car as it blocks flow to whe...
BMW E46 Hood Removal (How To)
มุมมอง 19K3 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I remove the hood of my E46 parts car. This process is simple and can be done alone but having a second pair of hands can definitely help speed things along.
Removing E46 Fender (How To)
มุมมอง 9723 ปีที่แล้ว
Today I am removing the drivers side front fender on my 2004 E46 parts car for use on my 2003. This uninstall is very straight forward, just be careful with the torx bolts on top of the fender in the engine bay.
Removing E46 Radiator and AC Condenser (How To)
มุมมอง 13K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the second video in the E46 repair series and in this video I demonstrate how to remove the radiator and AC condenser. Bear in mind this car is an automatic which consists of a few differences compared to the manual, the few differences being; - Automatics have the trans cooler attached to the radiator below the expansion tank that needs removed -Automatics use a mechanical fan run off ...
Removing BMW E46 Front End (How To)
มุมมอง 26K3 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I demonstrate how to remove the front end off of a 2004 BMW 330i (E46 chassis). This is a facelift (LCI) E46 but the steps are basically the same for pre facelift models. This will be a series of videos going over replacing the damaged front end components on my 2003 325i build.
Thanks :)
If I am replacing the condenser, should I replace anything else in the AC system? I've seen people replace the drier as well as they say it will go bad after releasing the freon Great video 🫶
I am not too knowledgeable about the AC system unfortunately
Very useful video! Thank You🤜🤛
What’s the size of the stud?
"Transmission fluid cooler"? *laughs in manual
okay so im painting on the car because i might discover new curse words trying to put those cables/hose back through the hood after I'm done. why didnt they just add disconnects where you showed?
The hole for the wire is only as big as the wire....the plug is massive and will not fit through. How did you wiggle the plug through?!?
Which part of the video are you referring to?
thank you very much i just did it the same thing you explained and everything came off good 👍
Plus 10 points for blue coolant . Thanks Pretty cool you can swap them , but that drain plug is a pain in the ass .
Thanks for the details, love from India.
Love the outro!
Thank you for doing this. You are making the life of E46 owners easier.
Happy to help!
Thank you
No problem!
Thanks man appreciate it

Why is it a parts car
I had bought it for front end parts to replace the damaged ones on my other E46. It was a good deal due to rust in the rear and I plan to eventually use the B30 in it.
Is there a torque spec?
Thanks for your knowledge 😊
Is the hood heavy?
Yes
Thanks for the video. How do you reinstall the hose and wires you removed?
You figured it out if so was it easy?
Great DIY, thank you 🙏🏽
Hit a deer with mine and only had 110k and I still want a clean title only hood damage and headlight busted out with a slight hair line crack on the radiator support bar
Clear , good and precise explanation
🎉🎉🎉 this saved me! I had no idea about the longer plug. I was wondering why I kept leaking and this solved my issue
Said the same thing as you. Much easier if they just installed quick disconnects. Might install my own.
Thank you so much, everyone always skips over disconnecting the ac condenser and power steering hoses. This has helped so much
good start
Thanks for this video. I found it while searching a salvage yard for my radiator and all they had were autos. Saved me some time and money!
Nice build bro
Thank you I brought a autozone radiator and didn’t know I had to change the drain plug
Thanks bro

I've recently come across another video as to the transmission cooler and it shows the automatic transmission screw being the longer version with the shaft so that cooling can get back to the transmission and I have the small screw and the one I just put on it's an automatic but my transmission is running due to this apparently and I can't change it because it is a threaded short plug but most of them have them wing tips
That's odd, based on what I've seen and what both my cars (1 auto, 1 manual) had, the auto rad had the short drain plug so it allowed coolant to get to the trans cooler at the bottom. The long one on the manual seals higher up the tube so the coolant is unable to travel to the open hole of where the trans cooler would be. If you want, send the link to the other video and I can take a look.
@@LifeAtTheShop let me see if I can figure out how to send the link it seems that on an E46 with an M 54 it has one with short shaft and one with the longer shaft to circulate through the transmission cooler otherwise it just fills it up and doesn't circulate
Looking forward for the rest of your video..love it already

Did you find out the part number of the broken clip that you talked about at 0:45? I broke mine as well. Brittle plastic.
I had spares from my parts car but I believe the part number is 61138372304.
@@LifeAtTheShop Thanks!! And the part number helped to find the specific diagram for the rest of the part numbers I'll to replace the broken parts from brittle plastic. Here it is for anyone else (specific to 2004 330ci): www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=BW53-USA-06-2004-E46-BMW-330Ci&diagId=61_1085#61138372304

thank you!!
Thank you for the clear and concise demonstration!
Nice!
Nice!
How'd you get it out of the car?
I pulled it out the front as I have the windshield out of the car so it just pulls straight out where the windshield would normally be. If you are not planning on removing the windshield you are able to pull it out one of the doors but you have to remove the front seats as it has to go on an angle. You can see what I mean in this video at the timestamp: th-cam.com/video/5sS2_S91Vzo/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps!
Same process when putting it back on?
I found the easiest way to put it back on is to have the 2 front bolts (the ones that I did not fully pull off) in the hood loose and then slide the hood onto the hinge, resting on those 2 bolts. Have the other 2 bolts with you and then you can hold the hood up with your hand as you screw them in. Once it is on routing the washer fluid hose and wires back through the hole is pretty easy.
Nice! Thanks for sharing!
