thanks for the awesome video, been trying to find videos of people doing this, and yours is probably one of the best true DIY’er for CF skinning your car parts. My type R lip is alittle scuffed up, and I’m not going to spend $1K on just a damn lip… no way am I going to spend that much just for a lip. Thanks to your video, I’m probably gonna pull the trigger, fix/body fill my front lip and lay some CF!!! Thanks bro! Subbed!
Nice bro , what’s the benefits of a toe arm
Since we’re lowering the car beyond factory spec, the alignment gets out of place. I replace every arm to be more adjustable to get a proper alignment for my tires mainly to reduce uneven wear. All the suspension components work together, so if the camber is out of spec it may affect the toe specs. It’s good to have everything adjustable when doing modifications not necessarily meant to be done

what did u tell c2b when buying the conversion kit? i have the same as you where i don’t have the spring bucket anymore on my Z
I didn’t say anything. I’m running bc coilovers which is a true coilovers design, meaning the spring and strut is one piece, where as factory it’s a 2 piece design where the spring is separate. I just entered I have bc coilovers and that’s it. Remove spring, screw in bag, done.

Silky sells a sway bar that would make your exhaust pipes sit alittle higher , it’s like a 370Z rear sway bar , but , for a 350Z , also they make pure lockout kit with no +/- on it , like centered ,

To be 100% honest this video disappointed me I stopped watching just because it's a carbon fiber skinning
Its not even a skinning its just a wrap, Im skinning my hood and fenders, using the oem parts as molds essentially, and getting left with an almost perfect carbon fiber piece
How was the alignment sheet? I'm bout to install my Coilovers with this toe arm, im glad I got the essentric bolt lol

I have about 1.5 degrees negative camber
For 350z it’s pretty much impossible to get 0 degrees

This is just an overlay for cosmetic purposes. All the strength is in the side skirt already
What kind of silicone did yu use ?
I just used a regular clear window silicone but it didn’t work to well. I’m going to redo it using butyl tape

The bolts snapped because you were trying to remove the adjustable side on the camber bolt. You were supposed to brake loose the other side
Hey Matthew, did you protect all these holes that you made with some rust preventive ? Did you get rust? 🤷🏻♂️
Actually just took it off a few days ago. About a year later I don’t have any rust. But I do plan on getting the panels welded up probably and I’ll spray some rust reformer all inside there to prevent it down the road. The wellnuts when tightened down create a waterproof seal so no moisture gets inside

Where did you get the kit i have a 08 sentra spec v and it shares the clockspring with the 350z i believe so i would love to be able to do this on it
