I thought i had seen all of their videos but this is the first time I've seen this one. They're perfect as usual.

I wish that Corky and Shirley were still together. What an amazing partnership. Their son Mark is talented too.

The greatest loss to this whole celebration of Latin and Ballroom dancing was making it a sports event! It is now dominated worldwide by Russians who are former gymnasts, ballet dancers and possibly even skaters. Its unattainable now to anyone who is just an everyday lover of dancing.

They were so amazing together and how privileged we were to see them dance. Jason left us way too early. Rest in peace Jason.

I am starting to recognize some of those championship-level "trick" Latin ballroom moves. For example, couple no. 320 in the paso doble at the 8:48 mark does cape-shaped pivot turns. From their cape stylings in the pivots, paso doble couple experts call this move "The Twists."

After I watched the professionals compete on PBS in what they now call "dancesport" as a teenager---I competed later on in "dancesport" as a collegiate competitor. I danced almost all of the dances---including the theatrical, bullfight-packed PASO DOBLE!

Getting coach lesson from Bob Powers was one of my biggest highlights of my dancing career 😊

When I first saw this couple performing this exact routine, I knew I had to learn West Coast Swing. I have since moved onto ballroom but seeing this video brought back good memories. Thanks for posting it!
