For how attached the Evangelical church is to hermeneutics, we tend to easily abandon them when it comes to this subject. There is no passage in context that teaches a pretrib rapture and there a a few that directly contradict such a concept. It's wishful interpretation at its best.

Very poor explanation of Deut. 32 KJV only is very cultish. Newer Translations such as the ESV + NLT are much more accurate since they use the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint.
