When it comes to waste management and recycling, we usually think of those as government services. After all, we pay for it every year in our annual tax bills. Recycling and trash pickup, though, can be a viable business. The global waste recycling services market is estimated to grow to $90 billion in the next decade_._ “It’s hard entering a monopolized industry being a little guy, but as a gr...

While the country is facing a housing crisis, South Florida is especially vulnerable. Living costs and rent remain high, while inventory is low. New construction is costly, takes longer, and creates millions of tons of carbon emissions each year. What if we can build homes faster, while having them last longer and cost less to build and maintain - all with more sustainable materials? “Onx is on...

What would Florida’s economy look like if we could achieve a net-zero power grid by 2035, or thinking bigger, a net-zero economy by 2050? Those were the two scenarios in a recent study by The Nature Conservancy that outlines a future where renewable energy and sustainable practices drive economic success. Through land protections and restoration efforts, nature will do part of the job of decarb...

Your attitude is wonderful ❤🪱❤️ My husband saw your name in the Orlando Sentinel paper. Excellent to see you keeping the landfills down.🪱👍🪱 I have a TH-cam channel that centers on Gardening and Vermiculture. Mine interest is a hobby and to keep down what we throw away. Last year we diverted 1973 pounds of food, cardboard and grass clippings from the garbage. It was fed to the worms or composted and returned to our small garden and yard. Thanks for making this your life's work. ❤Peggy❤
