CPSO launches newly revised policy on Human Rights in the Provision of Health Services
The Human Rights in the Provision of Health Services policy provides guidance for doctors so they can take reasonable steps to create and foster a safe, inclusive and accessible environment for their patients.
The policy supports physicians taking steps to acknowledge themselves as learners when it comes to understanding a patient's experience (cultural humility), to consider how social and historical contexts shape health and health-care experiences (cultural safety), to attempt to mitigate the effects of oppression in society (anti-oppression), and to engage in the process of actively identifying and eliminating racism (anti-racism).
Dr. Saroo Sharda: “Integrating equity, diversity, inclusion, and to racism and anti-oppression is very relevant to how we may conceptualize professionalism, given that traditional concepts of professionalism have usually centered around the identities and cultural norms of dominant groups. This can and has had significant impacts on those from equity-seeking groups.”
Incorporating equity, diversity, inclusion and anti-oppression concepts into practice helps create and foster a safe, inclusive, and accessible environment and improve patient experience, health outcomes, and the quality of the physician-patient relationship.

Of course its a patient advocate that has to do this speech. The doctors dont care and will take any interpretation of guidelines and CPSO policy they want in order to deny helping "problem" patients.

I see how the college is bullying and reprimanding physicians for expressing concerns when it comes to COVID-19. This I reprehensible. irresponsible and dangerous. What are your motivations for doing this Dr Judith Plante? You are killing people by doing this. You are an absolute disgrace to the medical professional and you should be fired and then charged with crimes against humanity.

“On April 30, 2021, Ontario’s physician licensing body, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), issued a statement forbidding physicians from questioning or debating any or all of the official measures imposed in response to COVID-19.” Oh yes sounds as if they CARE doesn't it !

This monologue is just propaganda- Neither does the College protect the public nor aid the physician. It has draconian legislation and power. It has a strong anti christian bias. It prevents qualified doctors even those who trained in Ontario but went and practiced in other provinces from returning without making them jump through mindless bureaucratic hoops. To whit they are a fascist minded organization., self serving, money sucking unable to provide guidance by creating vague policies, and when they are asked, they say well maybe yes maybe no. This unit of terror should be destroyed.
