@@lisaeaker9064 thanks very much! I’m still learning! The editing part is the hardest and takes forever but all this keeps me busy and gives my son and I quality time together because he likes to find things too! But the moral of my channel is that we do recover! Thanks again!
@@Recovery_Kicks yeah see I struggle with knowing what is and isn’t vintage cause I live thrifting and I never thought about Plato’s closet but I noticed here in Houston at some thrift stores they are onto the vintage tee thing because you can’t find a single one
@@lisaeaker9064 for sure! Plato’s closet is a tough one! But I follow technsports on TH-cam and he was the top Preowned clothing seller on eBay for 15 years straight. He taught me sooooo much. But you can also google like Nike tags for instance and someone has made a chart of what tags looked like in the years they were made. Many of the popular brands have it on google too. I just screenshot them so I can pull it right up in the thrifts and know what year and about what it’s worth! I’ve also noticed although I’ve been on eBay since 99’ that Depop sells just as fast if not faster. And has zero selling fees. Just some tips for ya!

@@lisaeaker9064 yes! It was my first time there! It’s such a cool little resort area with so many shops and apparently the best ice cream in the nation?! The line was too long so I wouldn’t know 😂. There's a tool when thrifting where I snap a pic of a shelf, crop out all items with my thumb (takes about 1 minute), and it identities the names and online prices for each item in just 5 minutes. You can find resellable items on a store shelf way quicker than you ever could manually Googling them one by one, essentially beating all other thrift store hustlers in the store. The tool is worthwiz.com
