@NorCalSaint Hello, for me it's not a problem because we like to ride at a brisk pace, and sometimes it's very dusty where we ride (North East PA) and that's the only way I can see where/ who is in front of me.

Just wanted a machine that I can take on any trail. Some places in North East restrict the size of your machine for their trails. I have no complaints about the 1000x.

I don't think Hondas is a CVT... Thought it was a 6 speed dual clutch?

Hi Nick, just 30 inch tires and muffler.

@@robhondasxs418 have you noticed anything different going up to 30 inch tires? You running the same width front and back?

@@nicholaslamb1262 Yes same size tires all the way around 30x10x15, on the factory rims. I gained 2" in ride height. But remember if you're going to have a spare make sure you get the factory front wheel (Rim), you'll be able to put it on the front or rear of your machine. Front and rear are not the same size. (Rear is a wider wheel than the front). As far as speed it takes just a bit longer to hit top speed, 74mph.

Do you ride Famous Reading yet? Again it's the type of riding that you do. In my opinion FRO is the closest thing to Hatfield and McCoy Trails inthenortheast. Every ride we get about 70 miles of trails to ride on and not as Rocky.

I ride dirt bikes a yes fro is better because lots a lots of single track but terrain is very similar rocky ! Unfortunately that’s the way it is in PA , wish aoaa had single track it is a great place with camping on site

Famous is not as rocky As AOAA. But I'm riding a sxs and your on a dirt bike so you are going to feel it more than me.

Sorry Tim I know nothing about the live valve. But I know the normal setting should be a softer ride then the sport setting. Sorry I couldn't help.

Hi Tim, first off the Honda is a ruff riding machine, but you have 3 settings you can use. Try all 3 settings to find what best fits your style of riding. I mainly keep my machine at setting 2 in the front and 3 in the back. I'm 265 lbs and I carry about 75 lbs on the back of the machine. I do need new springs on the back. I have a 2020 Honda talon 1000x, stock springs all around. Time to change the rear once.

We weren't impressed with the trails. You can't keep a steady pace the way we like to run.

This is in PA, FRO property. Locust Gap.

65 to 70 miles every time we ride. I'm not driving 3 hours to ride 20 miles.

Where do you ride? We are in the North East, PA.

Most be nice. I have to travel 3 hours to ride. I'm in NY and travel to PA to ride the trails you see me on. Funny I went to college in Iowa. I am a cyclone.

Compared to the Pro R I'm riding with yes. But I brought the Honda for durability. I like the rough ride. When I finish riding i know I did something. If you rode a quad or a dirt bike you know what I mean. Thanks for your comment. Check out our group channel (Never Half Throttle)

The auto shift is better that hand shifting.

It was in West Virginia, Pocahontas trails.

@@sxsoutcast7651 I have to agree with you on that. I ride with the (Never Half Throttle) club and we try to get down there at least twice a year. Our club is on TH-cam Never Half Throttle. You'll see the whole videos there.

@@robhondasxs418 I just subscribed. I do my own videos as well on TH-cam and we call ourselves the sxs outcasts. Cfmoto arctic cat and another cfmoto. We have a good time every time we go.
