Damn Hitogami is said to have a power that makes people trust him automatically and think of him as a good guy. At first I thought his powers somehow affected me, then I realised this damn ost was behind it. The progression of the main instrument(a high pitched music box esque sound) is very simple, just ascending notes. It mimics the simple rhythm of nursery rhymes, and nursery rhymes are made to be calming to small children. Now, accompanying the main instrument is this etheral, ascending and descending noise, that gives the song an enigmatic presence. As if we are in an unknown place, not bad, but unknown to us. Nor can we find much about the place. The simple progression of the main instrument gives us a feeling of trust that we are safe. And this is exactly what the song acheives. The void between the worlds is an unknown place, and people who have arrived their cant make much of it. While the Hitogami's seemingly calming nature and childlike personality makes people(and me) feel a sense of trust and security, even if there's none Or maybe I am thinking too far lol
