That AI is smelling blood like a shark! Can't you focus on better military units so you can beat her back? Also, on the defense you might be able to use hit and run tactics with your troops I guess. For your current tech, Janissaries are a great unit, so maybe you can use them to their fullest extent if you can get a battle without the enemy boats

So, you found another quirk of the CIvilkind mod: all battles last only 1 round, so you'll need to get some siege equipment on or you'll have a hard time capturing cities

You are correct, only certain companions agree with the Durge and can be recruited.

The toll house merchant, Volo, Grat at Goblin camp, Roah in Inner Sanctum, The Zhent hideout are people and places to sell your wares.

Inventory page, sort by type. Send the useless common stuff and camp supplies to camp. Too much to carry around.

When you left Zevlor and climbed ladder to hatch, that area had a rock face to climb up to a chest above.

Another tip: Hitting the CTRL key will bring up the biotica in the world and their resources

Don't forget to use the Inventor's passive! All biotica with science gains +40% science as long as they are UNIQUE in the world so you want different things all around. Also, you're still at Human (easy) difficulty, certain things only unlock on Giant (normal) and above difficulties

The inventory management process is crazy early on.
