Cardiac arrest lesson makes me curious to learn how to save people life

I’ve been told I was a miracle cause I had a widow maker heart attack while driving to the hospital. I was found in my car that I had wrecked by an officer headed into work. Between the officers and emts it took over 20 minutes to get me back from clinical death. I don’t remember anything but I read all the police and hospital records. I’m only 42 I was 41 at the time. My world was shattered.

I know AHA - now- more empirically evaluates pharmacological interventions. It appears they are not applying that to current dogma based on older studies. It’s amazing how a questionable study grows legs, impacting future practice.

In Medic School. Ran a mega code scenario to what I thought was somewhat flawless till I had to determine the location of the STEMI and failed. I’ve been on the struggle bus for cardiac for a good minute. But you guys simplify it so flippin well. My cardiac TSOPs is tomorrow. Wish me luck 🍀
