Looks like a great kit! Cant wait to get one and make a gunship out of it using the MRC armament and custom built xm6 quad mg's+rocketpods. Certainly looks waaay better than the Seminar b version. But i do have a question: are the rivets on the fuselage true rivets or are they holes? Thanks for the preview!!!

Looks to be an early B slick version. Armament would have been limited to the hand held M-60s in the back with the door gunners. Luckily crew figures for all positions are available. The crew seats look very nice; i especially like the crew chief's seat. This version really only applicable to early in the war. It was pretty underpowered as a gunship and was replaced in 67, i believe, by the dedicated gunship C version. It likewise couldn't carry many troops. It was likely to be used in the medevac role. What we NEED is an ACCURATE D/H version... with decent crew/pilot seats and the XM-23 weapons system. Honestly, is that too hard??

Trouble with Trumpeter is you have to wait for several builds before knowing it's accurate or not.

I haven't built a model kit in over twenty years. Still have the bug, though. I'm a USCG veteran and was going to build & paint a "fantasy" US Coast Guard version. Turns out it won't be a fantasy model, as the USCG was transferred the three from the Army after Vietnam, which were used in operational trials on the East Coast, Great Lakes, Alaska, and Chesapeake from 1970/71 thru 1973. They had operational ranges of 300 nautical miles, and could achieve speeds up to 80mph. One had an accident, and the other two were decommissioned due to budgetary issues.
