The vascular interventionist that are grounded anmd authentic enough to say he “kinda freaked out for a minute” is the doctor you hope will be working on your case. It also means that your care team (RNs) will be comfortable going to him regarding your case and if needed, he welcoming your nurse when they go to advocate for you. When appropriate of course.
👌
So is this normal ?? having your right testiacal feeling like they used it as a golf ball and they took it out for a round of golf ..3 weeks after surgery ? And your bowel movement all mist up needing to take 3 times the Laxative normal dose just to have a movement ?? If i had to do it again i would have not even with the aneurysm at 5.5 ...
My question is, do you see any more of the bone deteriorating after the fusing? And weight bearing? Have any of your surgeries developed worsening conditions afterwards
Retrograde dissection will shut down collaterals and side branches. Main vessel flow may be ok but branches and collaterals will shear off whether you’re ante or retro, correct?
<1% of labs have an “interventional ultrasonographer.” I don’t think one is even remotely necessary for 99% of situations. You don’t need one to get access. Respectfully, I think it’s much ado about nothing.
I just don't see how simple plaque smashing in the SFA will yield a superior outcome to DA (or Laser). Why not get the plaque OUT of the SFA? I understand there is not a lot of great data but the risk of DA in experienced hands is minimal and there is so much plaque. Just Chocolate and DCB is, respectfully, not my choice. "The goal is just to heel the wound" is not a lofty goal at all. This is not just "Oh well, we can always bring him back." That's nonsense. Get the best result possible. Agree w/ several panelists. Still, a great case. Thank you.
Agree using a chocolate balloon up front is not a great choice. There is so much plaque and removing it is superior. Jet, Laser are both options even if the wire is extra plaque.
Painful but true
This was 5 years ago, amazing knowledge and with the introduction of dedicated venous stents, miracles happen. I am researching because I will probably need a stent due to compression and M-T syndrome. I am holding off for a bit as I am allergic to nickel and the nitinol stents being used today are 55% nickel. I understand cardiologists have published that heart stents are not a problem with patients having nickel allergies, also Mayo says similar. However, with autoimmune disease, driven by Th 1 pathway, I am fearful I might have a systemic reaction to the nickel. Steroids are, at best, the very last thing I would take on a daily basis. Type 1 diabetic, currently with non diabetic A1C, steroids would certainly change this as well as mood and all the other debilitating effects it can create. I may just have to live with the compression and deal with it prophylactically. Will definitely affect QOL moving forward, however, the alternative appears worse to me. I suppose if there wasn’t a concern, the stent manufacturer wouldn’t have to place a warning on their package insert.
What is the cost
Narrator talks too low and too fast. He assumes we are all vascular surgeons. I am family practice.
Useful info. Thanks 👍
1 month on spms I'm healed, my neck issues allong with disingaged vertigo symptoms, crainian membrain, allong with. preshure and cognetion amazing product thank you do much Dr
nice result..congrats👏
Amazing work, great vidio gave me some hope for humanity great truths from a real doctor
Thank you for the great lecture. My six weeks of IV antibiotics is almost over and trying to kearn what is ahead of me. I had a surgery six months ago of my calacaneus and Achilles reconstruction with spur debridement...and after that got osteomyelitis. Had alerady emergency suregery and I really hope to be able to save my leg
Try CDS. Chloride Dioxide solution
Reading the information is not engaging, though learned some. This is no less than death by PowerPoint from someone not prepared for speech. Learn your material and utilize “bullet” points to elaborate on the subject. Way too rushed for anyone to take notes or retain information.
Great video!
I had a catheter ablation last week and in the two months leading up to it I must have asked the providers five times what the percentages were of different complications. I never did get a straight answer. I was mostly asking about the chances of needing a Foley catheter and how often do patients wake up with the drainage tube because of cardiac effusion. Do you have any numbers to share? After hearing this video, I’m sure I would not submit to another ablation. Should they tell me one is necessary. Thank you very much.
But does not show anything about complex renal aneurysm?
Can’t understand most of what he’s saying?
so would the cannabonoid THC help resolve brain injury and brain problems not healing up? I mean the brain is rich in CB1 receptors right?
What's the difference between Metagenics SPM Active and Life Extension Pro Resolving Mediators? They appear to have the same ingredients. Also what's the optimal dose and when is the best time of day to take these?
Good questions, I just started too!
Let’s get more of these procedures done, this is God’s work - life saving!!
Hey Doc i know you talked about CBD CBG but check out CBDa CBGa the raw unheated non decarbolized CBD CBG it way more anti inflammatory.
What about concussion recovery? TBI Recovery? tramatic brain injury symptoms that linger.
Give it a try, TBI is brain inflammation and these SPM’s help resolve all inflammation in the body. I’ve had great success using this supplement for over 2 years
It works I'm on it and feel results with massive crainian preshure tryed lots even meth blue, hydo water also with magnesium threanate,
Cbd is good for resepter, THC no good
Your the man Doc
I bet this would pair really good with CBD
Dear Dr Dua, thank you for explaining the interventions required depending on the sensory loss or motor loss and the critical timing for the death of the muscle likely to require amputation of the limb. No punches pulled. The etymology of the medical terms ischemia, thrombos and embolism etc are equally blunt and clear. For lay people: do whatever you can to minimise the risk of a blood clot.
Interesting discussion of PTS for me having suffered a DVT in 2022. Here in the UK I have not been given any advice at all about anything I can DO to prevent PTS , and I think that there should be more information and motivation given , about topics such as compression, exercise, weight control, and elevation.
Thank you.

Thanks for sharing this Data
Thank you for sharing this very important information!! I also agree!!
00:00 - Intro 06:08 Specialized pro-resolving mediators can eliminate inflammation and improve results by 30-50%. 12:16 The specialized pro-resolving mediators (SPMs) promote resolution of inflammation and enhance macrophage function. 18:24 Specialized Pro Resolving Mediators (SPMs) shift macrophages from pro-inflammatory to anti-inflammatory state, promoting healing 24:32 SPM (Specialized Pro Resolving Mediators) is a powerful healing process for multiple conditions. 30:40 The role of cannabinoids in treating inflammatory bowel disease and other conditions 36:48 The speaker discusses the role of specialized pro-resolving mediators in health and vascular disease. 42:56 Specialized Pro Resolving Mediators (SPM) and cannabinoids can help treat peripheral neuropathy and clear it up within a year. 48:59 Specialized Pro Resolving Mediators (SPM) have incredible health benefits.
Thank you. Using a grounding sheet would probably have the same effect or better.
Upping SPMs for my chronic inflammation
What is w/ the multiple proximal stent punctures? If you’re going to puncture the stent, do it as distally as possible. What is the logic behind this?
“You need to do US every 2 months…” Is there any decent literature that shows US surveillance at X interval improves outcomes? Or is it standard PAD dogma based on anecdotes?
Angioid Streaks is the blindness... very rare in the US (1 in 8 million)
Great information
What a powerful talk. This information is fascinating! Looking forward to addressing my and my family's health concerns with SPMs. As an aside, I believe the reason we Americans find ourselves in such a sad state of health can be traced all the way back to nutritional deficiencies, beginning in the soil. Follow that up with toxic modern agricultural methods, vilification of saturated fat and cholesterol, massive heavy metal poisoning via countless vaxx, overconsumption of oxidized seed oils, etc. I've tried hundreds of supplements in my life, and nothing has been more healing than raw animal products, esp bovine. Dr. Price and Dr. Pottenger were on to something.
I was a little sad when he said cut the red meat! Carnivore has helped me with several issues. But my psoriasis remains, so I am trying out SPM🙏
@@jhodge3596 I've always heard great things about Carnivore, but it gave my husband gout, now he's afraid of beef 😂
