Excelente vídeo, saludos cordiales, desde Bomberos Perú.
Would have loved to learn how to park this kind of truck on a very crowded narrow street with parked cars tightly parked on both sides. How you know exactly where to park the truck so the outriggers can extend without a car being in the way with only a foot of separation between cars.
If only real buildings and homes had to have a mandatory distance between them with pavement like this I think FD operations would be a bit easier...
thumbs up
thanks
thanks
EXCELLENT SIR VERY INFORMATIVE VIDEO THANKS
what dose the cradle do any ways
Nice techniques! What was the red strap with the gold quick link on it? Or was it just a 1in webbing with a quick link from a dog leash. I love new Ideas for RIT. You can never have too many tools to put in your tool box.
why is theeir 4 hydraulic cylinders
One of the great all steers
how can you run the pump while running the hydraulics with the pto
Nice job
Crackheads in Philly have been doing this for years!
medford oregon?
Thats a weird rig for pierce i have seen all of their non special order(step dad works for them )
Great work! Remember to pivot the tool instead of removing and replacing it. This will ensure that both members are anchored to the roof at all times and will speed up the opeartion and give you a full 4x4 hole.
Nice rig, big fan of the all steer!
at 2:35 he starts knocking down the studs wouldn't that be dangerous in a fire structural stability and all.
4:54 andd that's why the endd of our Aerials are articulated and don't need an additional (ground) ladder
Good video, escaping "like a boss".
Great job. Very smooth and efficient! Kudos!
This a great video. Anymore engineer videos for rural departments?
This is a great video with excellent safety information. We have one on our channel showing a below grade rescue - but it doesn't offer nearly as much detail as this one. Great video Medford Fire. Stay safe out there.
You guys should so this on your new ladders
Very nice work
waste of time?? We set up our Platform Ladder, extend it to full length (100ft.) and turn the ladder by 90° within one minute...
we set up our Platform Ladders, extend them to full length (100ft.) and turn the ladder by 90° in under one minute... We have three 100ft. ladders at our station, and each of them is a platform ladder.
So how many calls have you responded to on a tower?
@rhinebckfirefighter to add to that most houses will have wiring roughly sixteen inches off the floor level that you would have to assume are live and cannot be cut making yet another challange. i Breeched a wall in an old farm house with studs that were less then 10 inchs on center and had a wire 12 inches from the floor level making it really difficult. but its things like that, that you encounter during training that make you step back and say wow now if i were in this foreal....
your not just going into an area thats just as bad! good video!
if you had a mask on this wouldnt be ideal you would run a major risk of your mask getting pulled off. I have found the easiest way is to make your hole, turn around and sit (placing air pack in the hole) and fishing your right arm threw, then your head then your left arm/shoulder. you will use way less energy, now this obviously wont work for a bigger guy but for the guys you had going threw it would work just fine. also remeber punch a small hole first make sure
@hassia666 Many are yes.
Very interesting technique!
not trying to armchair quarterback, but took way to long, could be done much quicker. no need to chain break, and the whole hook placement thing is not necessary, especially on that pitch of roof.
Great video
Looks tough, but it works.
A.K.A. The Love Knot !!
@joemagliari Medford, NJ has a 75' quint. I think this is Medford. OR.
@ylen13 Its dry wall, yeah it is
Well done.
while on a roof never lose contact with the ladder
@Truck11Productions air wont "pour into the building" thru a roof hole..... hot air rises and will push out. you should have an idea of where the vent hole will be before going on the roof. even if its not perfect you will still achive ventilation... if air was going to pour into the building it would come in the front door with the engine company... go back to the fire academy!
@AlexNAFD ok cool thanks for the tip stay safe
@Truck11Productions they must have had directions from the interior crew that the location were they were cutting was the seat of the fire idiot. And u have to push the roof decking through ceiling, plus u should have radio contact with the interior crew, through radio. this is just practice obiously.
bad ass. i like the pike pole behind the back switch!lol
fast ropeing but on a hose
Toronto Fire used this technique just last month after they had a mayday call
Thats all good if you have walls that are that thin yes but also you got think stud placement and new contracton and new remodeling
What is the first and third song? Thanks and keep up the good work. God bless all who serve.
