Didn't filled the void? Water can go into the hole from outside and can cause metal strings to rust which will endup ruining the tyre

A very good demonstration. Perhaps, next time back out the screw with a screwdriver if possible, and remove the cellophane before rolling the patch with a roller? I like this repair solution to save money. Thank You!
You don't remove the cellophane mate. It should come off on it's own after sufficiently rolling the patch
