@@АльбертЗак-о9п best to start off light. I mostly just played what I like to listen to. When I was young it was mostly Linkin Park, SOAD, Korn, Slipknot and loads of pop punk. That helped me get more speed overtime. And then the world of technique opened up and I became a nerd haha! But your question answered shortly: start light and don't overdo yourself. Better to start learning easier songs properly and then progressing to more difficult and faster songs to push yourself bit by bit.

Hey I don’t want to talk too much shit, the drummer in this video is doing great work. But listen to heel toes vs straight singles when the triggers aren’t on or when it isn’t an e-kit and you’ll hear the difference. You’ll see one technique is playing the drum, the other is playing the technology.

Been slowly working on in since I started playing metal, which is around 10 years ago now. The speed can be there faster since it's mostly about proper technique! Trying out what works best for you and feels comfortable, for me it's like a combo between switching between french and German grip during blasts together with kinda "dancing" with the rest of my arm so I won't tense up too much. Hope this helps a bit!
