Regarding the MTG Universes Beyond stuff, I think it's great that Fallout or Warhammer can bring new people into the game, but it's a self-feeding cycle where because UB product brings new players in, Wizards (and more importantly Hasbro) wants to push more UB product, and some people (myself included) find it sad that the general feel of MtG will get diluted more and more because of that. I love new players coming in, but I think MtG's core aesthetic and feel are a big part of why I like the game so I find it a shame. I say this as someone who bought the Spring Miku drop so I guess my opinion doesn't matter anyway lel Also will you do custom palettes for your team? It's one of my favourite features of CC

Even tho you had a massive skill issue and blamed game for your lack of 2d platformer experience, I gotta give you respect for completing the game. Also, it's fun to watch someone struggle. And I mean the skill issue is insane. I know you're playing for the first time, but I remember being like 6 or 5 years old and even I noticed that when gex glows he has a range attack. You're on world 4 and still never used it.

I have this disc as well. It is surprising that this was not spoiled on the front cover of Gex 1's manual. Most other Eidos Interactive titles that came with demos had like a burst or something showing some of them offered. If I had to rank these demos from best to worst, here is how I would rank them: 1. Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko. You get to play the 2nd level of the game, Mystery TV. All three missions are available to be completed, and each of them are really enjoyable. From going through the hedge maze, to beating the three minigames, to becoming Vampire Gex to glide to and break the blood coolers. There are other collectibles to get as well, including the Fly Coins, Paw Coins, and Bonus Coins (the latter two are useless in the demo but are helpful in the full game). The environment is really cool, exploring a big house and its hedge maze in the middle of the night as a detective. This demo is a lot of fun to play, and it would surely get me to want to play Gex 3, which I have and is truly an underrated gem! Score: 10/10 2. Akuji the Heartless. One of the darkest 3D platformers of all time, this demo lets you play the 2nd level, Pluton. The level is just the right length and features several different enemies to take on. Several spells are available to use if close combat with the claws is not your thing. The goal is to get to the end of the level and find the souls of ancestors scattered throughout the level (again, useless in the demo but required in the full game). I really love the vibes of the level too, using fluorescent green and dark blue as great contrasting colors here. Another enjoyable demo that made me try the full game, and it is also an underrated classic! Score: 9/10 3. Tomb Raider 3. This one has you playing Area 51, the 3rd level in the Nevada section of the game. The level is very long, with even the demo version being quite a bit lengthy. While the final game has you finding a way inside the UFO (this takes a long roundabout way in the final version), the goal in the demo version is to escape by jumping the fence outside. A healthy number of guards and soldiers will try to stop you along the way, some have guns while others do not. You also have to avoid lasers that can damage Lara or set off turrets. I can understand that some find this demo to be the worst because of the tank controls and the fact that it is really dark throughout. Despite that, I did not find this demo to be that bad. The biggest issue for me is that it is too long. Even someone like myself, who has gotten good at playing these older Tomb Raider games, took over 30 minutes to finish this demo. Still, the final game is really good, but this demo may not represent it very well. Score: 6/10 4. Warzone 2100. This one is quite the oddball of the bunch. The only one that is not a platformer in any way, and the only one not developed by Core Design or Crystal Dynamics. This game is a real-time strategy game made by Pumpkin Studios. I rank this one lowest not because it is bad; but because I was not sure how to play this one. The premise is interesting, the music is really good, and the environment is pretty immersive. However, as someone who is not used to playing strategy games, I had a hard time with this one. I know that if I put in the time and effort, I could get used to the demo and enjoy it. From what I did play, it is okay. Score: 5/10

Warzone 2100 was/is a post-apocalyptic RTS for the PC and PS1. Think Terminator mixed with Mad Max for a general vibe. Kinda ran like crap on the PS1. It didn't get a huge following, but had a dedicated enough a fan base that the source code was released to the community a few years after support was officially dropped. You can download it entirely legally for free on PC. The "controlling a single unit" mechanic in the demo wasn't much more than a gimmick really.

I can beat Castlevania in 20 minutes, but it took me a lot of practice and studying a lot of runs.

Glad I'm not the only one for whom Sword and Shield killed all enjoyment of the series lol. Like, the series has had its moments of tedium, but I'm almost in awe that SwSh made me question if I've just lost the ability to enjoy a Pokemon game. But nope, the earlier games are still great!
