Hey, my name is Rich. This channel allows me to document my hiking and wild camping adventures in the United Kingdom, mainly exploring around the Lake District and North Yorkshire Moors.
Over the past year I have built up a real passion for wild camping, I hope that sharing my journeys will help encourage others to get outside and explore too.
My preferred method of camping is with a tent, I frequently use my MSR Hubba Hubba NX 2 when out on my own. My ideal location is as remote as possible, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Wild camping allows me to switch off from it all.
I am a strong advocate of the 'Leave no Trace' message, ensuring I am respectful to nature in all cases.

Lone Wild Camp - North Yorkshire Moors Overlooking Teesside
In this one, I head to a spot I've frequented previously. However, storm damage to some trees made the area unsafe so I had to seek alternative accommodation for the night! I ended up with lovely views over Teesside and the majestic Roseberry Topping.
