@@ScubbaUchiha96 The de-locking and not locking on in general was intentional. I noticed I was dodging his attacks easier while not locked on. Something about being locked on prevented me from reading the proper dodge windows.

It was just something I noticed through trial and error. I wasn't dodging his attacks hardly at all while locked on that day. But Souls speed runners and high level players have noted that sometimes the bosses moves and even AI can be easier exploited if you don't lock on. Which is why I tried de-locking in the first place.

Thanks, that was the first attempt where I killed the king first. Not having the king throw stuff at you randomly and the prince getting angrier made his attacks more predictable.

I definitely got in a hurry and just stair cheesed him, This enemy type in general is very strong/aggressive and super punishing for my slow build. I think I fought him sooner than you're supposed to too which didn't help. Kept 2-3 shotting me

TH-cam won't let me post the site but I use GitHub website to see skills, skill strengths, different summon combos, etc... For all the SMT/Persona games I play. Helel gets Morning Star, then I likely used Helel as material to create a better Messiah long story short. Once you get good at using the site you don't really need TH-cam tutorials anymore, so I'd recommend that.

@@D3fEct45 After MWI/MWII I'm just used to people hearing me now. Feel like moving faster vs silent helps you get to power positions/nade spots faster. Even though they hear me coming I feel like it's usually too late because they don't expect people to be there that fast/throws off timings

I noticed it randomly started getting views recently. Game is still amazing!

I have about 200hrs of playtime in the game and still haven't gotten it even once.

Don't even remind me... I did ended up getting it three times in Orpheus but spent 4 days trying to get it. I had Almighty Amp and Inferno on my fusion materials and it mutated from Inferno twice. Had to reset until it came from Almighty Amp... it was PAIN

@@jellal5547 Daaaaamn! I couldn't do that. I never farmed for a mutation in P3R. Glad I didn't because the game ended up being too easy. Doing a challenge run now because I feel I was robbed my first playthrough lol.

Just threw the "cheesing" in the title because I was using a summon but yeah, he still put up a hard fight that last 10% lol. Took the summon out and almost took me out like 2-3 times.

50% Increase to Almighty Damage. Typically, for attack skills, Boosts are a 25% increase, Amps are a 50% increase, and they do stack. There are some websites that explain more. I personally use GitHub.

I would just play naturally and not overthink it. The sad part about P3R is even on the hardest difficulty the game is too easy and things aren't balanced well. Why I'm replaying the game with stuff like Boosts and Amps banned/challenge run. It's literally not worth unlocking when you can already smack everything without it so don't sweat it too much.

@@captain-gloss2253 Yeah I know. Nameless puppet would have probably been my favourite boss in the game if he was a bit harder. His first phase is super easy and on his second I could just get away with mostly blocking and tanking his hits because I was so powerful at the end of the game. Definitely way better than Simon Manus, Father of the abyss

@@titaniumgamer_10 Meh, Nameless Puppet secret boss was a pushover too for the most part. The real final boss was the Green Monster or Lax IMO. IDK if they were afraid to make bosses too hard because there was no online play but I still liked the game/story.

@@GRiznitDShiznit Yeah Lanseax was the hardest but also the most fun to parry imo. I also would have loved king of puppets way more if his first phase didn't exist. The fact that I have to spend 4-5 minutes on the boring first phase just to die instantly to one of Romeo's ridiculous combos made it very frustrating. Other than that top 2 for me

Oh, he's extremely easy. This was actually my first attempt. My next attempt I was going to cheese him and bring a Spector but surprisingly beat both his phases solo lol. His attacks are all very slow and predictable.

Short answer is IDK/IDR, but I'd imagine any Persona you fuse has a small chance to have a skill mutation after fusing. I wouldn't get too wrapped up in it though. Even on the hardest difficulty, the game is too easy to spend time save-scumming/grinding too much.

@@GRiznitDShiznit lmao dw I got both almighty amp and magic ability but got rid of magic ability since I got it on Satan of all personas, who doesn’t benefit from it at all with black viper.

Definitely had mutations happen with no levelup before, at least I remember that happening Don't quote me on it

I think it is based on 2 factors: • How close you are to a full moon • The number of personas you fused that day. So if you want to maximize skill changes, do them close to as close you can to a full moon and spend some time fusing low level personas.

You might already know about it but there’s a cool site for all smt/persona’s/as well as other games that you can manually choose what DLC you have and it adjusts accordingly, there’s a fusion calculator that saves time helping you make builds, it has all the skill info as well as shows how to fuse every Persona/Demon. I think it’s called github but it’s easy to find with keywords. But that’s cool, I never got Magic Ability. Probably only got Almighty Amp because I passed Boost on so much.

magic ability doesn't affect almighty in reload and the cap is 5x not 2x

Yeah, nothing too special. I’ve got a mute glitch going on or something where everyone’s permanently muted so I have been playing. Playing without callouts is awful.

@@megadeth6756No mics + no red dots is awful. Gotten use to no red dots with mics though. Punishes teams with bad/no comms. Unfortunately that means me every game now.
