Sir.... You are the greatest. Got to fix one for a friend and get it sold for her. You saved me a lot of frustration.
great video
Yet another one done wrong. You didn’t measure the stack height
that was very good man. thanks i just did a god damn indo on my own cause someone stop short and i slam my font and did a indo and my front fucked....
i hav ducatin 795 accidentally detached the wiring from the connector now a cannot insert it due to lock of knowledge on the arrangement of the wiring
sir can you view the wiring arrangement coming from the body connector of fuel pump 1234 wiring insertion
I just need to remove the stator cover because there was a hole in in it, the stator has this white substance around it is that normal?
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO!
Hello, Thanks for This!!!! Great job!!!!
That’s a street twin not a speed twin…
Doesn’t look too hard. Thanks
Did you have to dis assemble the front end to replace the headlights
@@channingglenn414 no
Hi mate, thanks for the video. Did you manage to make it work with the last plate not offset? I'm having the problem that how the service manual tells to assembly offset does not work, but they way you did works instead. Cheers
Good complete mounting screw info. I fail to pry the cover excluding the longest screw. Now I know. TQ
NO NEED TO REMOVE THE ROTOR!!! After removing the side cover, the remaining two allen screws can be removed through the holes in the idle gear!
This helped me save a lot of time! :D
No - no they can not. The holes do not align with the allen-bolts retaining the starter. Not on my idler, anyway, nor does it appear as though they do in the specimen in this video.
Thans for the video.just bought one.
Hello, thanks for this! Do you need to drain the oil before doing this work?
Hey hopefully someone can give me a answer to my problem ima try to break it down best as possible, So I have a 2019 Yamaha MT 09 that has 18k miles with a few mods like a ECU Flash, SC Project Exhaust, Quick Shifter, K&N Filter.. When im in my higher gears mostly going fast giving it full throttle my bike will rev higher than supposed to while losing power but I’m still able to up & down shift with no problem and take off in 1st gear with no delay I was told it’s most likely my clutch plates but the dealership wasn’t 100% sure they said they never heard of this problem if you was having these issues as well or know what’s going on I will really appreciate any advice..
Ever figure it out? I’m having the same issue
@@liverowns yea it was my clutch plates they were burnt from my mirror being installed the wrong way making my clutch lever not ingage all the way if you have bar end mirrors make sure it’s not in the way of your lever but you definitely need new clutch plates
Missed the gasket install
Couldn't watch this due to the STUPID music !!!! wtf ....
This video is garbage. It does not teach you anything!
I heard you need to soak the new plates in oil for at least a few hours before installing them.
nahh
You skipped removing the cover. That's the hard part cause of the gasket
The last friction plate is suppose to be off set
thanks chris my starter motor finally failed
Thank you so much. I have to do this at a friend of mine's bike because he bought a bike with a bad stator. This is a lot easier than doing it on one of my Harleys
Thanks I have an issue on a 2015 Scrambler, I'll watch those rollers on the removal.
Did you need to scrap old gasket off the engine mating surface?
Everything you showed is basically common sense. How about showing the most difficult part for most people which is getting the cover on and aligning the pull rod and the pull lever correctly. Or the proper order for stock plates...
Common sense isn’t so common. JS
Perfect
Excelente video me ayudo mucho. Muchas gracias.

How did you remove the bolt from the rotor?
Can you pleas tell me what is the order to re install rhem agein ?
Start and finish install with clutch disc..
Where did you buy the parts
Nice. Good tutorial!
thanks for this! I'm having to do it the first time and it's great to see your video
do you have the torque specs for the bolts?
So when removing the fuel hoses does the tank need to be 100% empty or is there some kind a plug because I have a full tank and would hate to have to go thru the process of draining it
Hey thank you for this video. I was changing the battery on my Ducati 796 & your two minute video was so much more informative than the owners manuals complicated instructions
That’s the intake you took out in the front
Dumbest video ever
Jodin Trumata, why is the video dumb? Can you explain that?
Last plate is in the wrong position, and the oil does not need to be drained to do this, it sits low enough in the sump that the cover can be removed without needing to drain
Do know d tourque specs for d spring bolts
It’s a street twin, not speed twin
The side cover says Speed Twin.
coooooooool
Hey awesome video! I just wanted to make sure if I want to change my battery, I should stop at 1:49 right, or do I need to do the rest? and also what tool sizes do I need exactly? from what I saw in the video, 3mm hex allen key, 5mm hex allen key, and 8mm to remove the bolts, do I need more than that?
I would suggest that you remove the tank all the way , you will also need a 10mm for the battery
@@chrisstevens3379 Thanks a lot!
Thanks for the video. The very first 5mm Allen bolt on the bottom isn't loosening, just keeps spinning. I'm wondering what the threads are for that bolt inside. It's the one bolt stopping me at the moment.
