Play Lead Guitar Immediately: Introduction
มุมมอง 1.4Kหลายเดือนก่อน
There is only one simple six note pattern that you need to know in order to play lead guitar. In this series of 4 easy to follow videos, I will demonstrate that you can start to play lead guitar by thinking about that pattern in a certain way and as a result, you can start to play lead guitar almost immediately. If you find this helps you, my Venmo is mynewbrain

Wow, nice collection, or guitarsnal. Thanks for the demo!
Very good buddy, perfect voice and guitarplay for this tune! I like to play it myself, but my voice is much deeper and rough. Yours is just like Jerry Jeff Walker!

Looks like you've got a real nice Martin there.
Cool to see someone understand how impactful pickguards are to the tone!
Very interesting!
Glad you think so! I think so too. Try it, it works.
Loved his rendition ❤❤❤
Not trying to troll but I don't get it. I just see a lot of outlined notes that must be in a certain key I missed. I tried to find an A minor pentatonic in there with A as the root or even the five notes in one circled bunch and I guess I'm missing something
The six note pattern repeats itself over and over again as shown in the diagrams. All you have to do is remember that the B string “interrupts” the pattern by one fret. Table #1, also shown in the video tells you what the upper left and lower right notes are so you know where to start. It works for any major or minor key. Watch the video again, then watch the summary video. You’ll get it.
I’m also happy to FaceTime depending upon what time zone you’re in. It really is easy, and it really does work as you can see by a couple of the comments already.

oh shit you might be onto something here. it took me a min. but i got it
@@archiedeaton3317 yep. Enjoy! It gets you started. You can start jamming now to any jam track, practice all your other moves (bend, hammer, pull off, slide) and groove the patterns in your brain. Once you start, you will notice how quickly your brain starts to “hear” where the next notes are and assimilates how to move further up and down the neck. Good luck, and check back with your progress if you like.
@@archiedeaton3317 also, share with all your other lead guitar wanna be friends. Unless of course, you decide to keep them in the dark to impress them! But that would be mean. lol
thats a cool idea of thinking about it

Please share my videos with all your guitar playing friends who have always wanted to play lead guitar.
Excellent selection of guitars. I'd love to own all of them. I think the HD28 sounds the best in your lineup. I have a Songwriter Deluxe. That line was developed by Ren Ferguson. I just recently discovered that his signature is under the top piece of my guitar. So he might have helped with the build. Pretty cool.
I like the HD also. But the Songwriter is more balanced sound. The first Hummingbird is my favorite to play though. IDK why exactly, but it just plays easier to me.
Sounds great, man! Nice collection too. I was expecting a Gibson J-45, or Guild D-40, or D-55 being a finger style guy. Well done 💪😎🎸
What pick do you used?
Herco
For me the best sounding was the Martin, followed surprisingly closely by the Yamaha. The Yamaha was more balanced but not as loud as the Martin.
And the Yamaha had one or two strings that were slightly out of tune.
The Yamaha is quite close to the HD28. A little less base and volume but not that big of a difference. That particular performance sounded best on the Hummingbird imo. Thanks for the demo.
“Bass” when it’s sound or an instrument; “base” when it’s the lowest part or foundation of something.
A fine cover.
Love it.
WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
You had me in the first 33 seconds…. very nice rendition and performance!! Smooth, comfortable vocals…. really like your tempo and pacing… nice fingerstyle picking throughout! Thanks for sharing your talents! New subscriber… look forward to enjoying more performances… Have a Blessed weekend!
