I actually have emailed and messaged sierra multiple times about more tmk. They need a 110-115gr tmk 6mm, 25 cal 130 plus tmk, 145gr plus 6.5 tmk, 170 plus 7mm tmk. Need to get everyone to start emailing sierra to get them to make these bullets!

22 ARC brass cannot be formed from 6 ARC brass easily, 6 ARC is shortened from the 6.5 Grendel, 22 ARC is full length 6.5 Grendel. 22 ARC brass is available from Hornady.

For Mouflon on the big island, you need to buy your hawaii hunting license and hunt within the archery or rifle boundaries. If going diy, make sure you call fish and game and make sure they arent doing an arial sheep cull operation around your hunt. Went a few years back. Found a real nice ram. Put him to bed and the following day hawaii did a 3 day arial culling and we were no longer allowed in the unit. With two days left to hunt I went back in and those buggers wouldnt let you get a thousand yards from them lol.

I'd highly suggest you boys take a gander at Ron Spoomers video on this cartridge... it answers several of your conerns/complaints...

Ride a bike for 60 days before you go on a 30 mile pack trip you will get your but in shape and do lots of core work and dead lifts for leg strength . I rode into Hawks rest from Turpin meadows then up over to Cody with my pack mules and horses fantastic trip. Take a shot gun and lots of bear spray. Best trip I ever had was in Tajikistan for ten days hunting on horses. Rode two days solid in and 2 days out for sheep and Ibex hunting.

Recoil is the opposite reaction from the bullet leaving the cartridge and barrel. Even if the case blows outwards you can’t get away from the bullet leaving with more energy therefore more recoil.

Washington state said enough wolves no need for hunting no need for firearms.

Nightforce does have a hunt friendly reticle now, FC-DMx, but only comes on 1-8x Nx8 and Atacr. 10 mil, 0.5 mil segments, 4-mil donut of death, small center aim point, illum only on the center dot and donut. They just need to get it into some of the 10x-15x top end options as 8x top end a bit more midrange special for now. In my nx8 it's a daylight bright red dot to 8x precision tree versatility and reticle usable for precision from 5x-8x. Very versatile for midrange work. Could easily live on 6x, but if general purpose part of your rig it's worth a look. It's very compact though so mounting on long actions could be a challenge, it's like 8" long, so niche for sure. Great on ultralight midrange short action set ups.

I have so many people tell me, you gotta use mono bullets or heavy bonded bullets. In my experience they aren't that accurate and sacrifice velocity. Especially since I shoot a 6.8 Western with a 20 inch barrel suppressed. I just loaded up some 145 grain ELD X bullets. I hope to be able to test them as soon as the weather gets better. Love the podcast!

This isnt an AR running 30 round mags. Its a hunting rifle. With that, zero concern about reloading. Also..what cartridge gets the same performance, that's common, in a 16" barrel? As stated. I do agree with no one else is going to make it, but your going to see the same with 7PRC, Winchester wont make it or 7PRC as it competes with 6.8 Western, Federal wont make 7PRC (anymore, as told by the Federal guy at TTH) or 6.8Western really as it competes. Hornady (even though they cant get velocity advertised.) Wont make 7BC or 6.8 Western. Your going to hit a point were your going to tie new rounds to makers, and it will turn into the Chevy/Dodge/Ford conversation (in that order). With some 3rd parties making SOME ammo. Although more likely with 7PRC and 6.8 Western using brass. To early to buy a chambered rifle, but definitely a point towards the future. Also.. Silencer Central is stating their suppressors can handle the pressure

I dont understand everyones gripe with federal. Federal terminal ascents have been absolutely 100% satisfaction in my experience. Even back on the day just shooting fed premium 140 in 7mm08 always been on par. People always have to be negative as fuck when its not their idea or an idea from their side of the road
