Why did Margaery want Cersei out, when she knew it would illegitimatize Tommen's claim to the throne
Cersi’s arrest and walk of atonement didn’t happen because she had given birth to illegitimate children. Were that the case, one might say that, well, she kinda deserved it. Even in real life, history has never been kind with an adulteress, especially when the woman was a princess or a queen-consort. But the High Sparrow never once questioned Tommen’s legitimacy, he had no idea about her affair with Jaime (and if he knew something, he never mentioned it).
Hello everyone, If you are new here, Please don't forget to subscribe and click the notifications bell, so you don't miss any new updates on your favorite TV series.
His problem with her was her lack of morality As a Widow. She was accused, among other crimes, of using her beauty and sexuality in order to manipulate men. And truth be told, she did just that: she seduced those guys and convinced them to seduce Marjery, and later to testify against the little queen. The thing is, the guys broke under torture and confessed the truth: they actually slept with Cersi, never with Marjery. So, her very smart plot turned against her.
That’s why they shaved her head, stripped her naked and paraded her through the streets; that’s why they took away her beauty, her pride and her dignified image - to punish her depravity, to humiliate her before gods and men. And that’s why this part is so sad: they basically punished her not for a real crime, which would have been understandable, but because she was beautiful, powerful, and wanted to live her life freely. Again: she was a widow, a young widow. She should have been free to sleep with whoever she wanted at that point (not with her brother, of course, but that is a different story), and not be questioned about it.
We don’t know what the High Sparrow has in mind for her, what actual punishment he prepares. In the books, the cept of Baylor is still standing, and Cersi is still waiting for the trial. So does Marjery. Book-Marjery is also accused of sleeping around, but there is no evidence against her yet. And if she is found guilty, it’s going to be worse than it was for Cersi, because in her case it would be adultery and treason.
Also: having the queen-mother convicted for a crime says nothing about the king’s legitimacy. It simply gets her out of the way, and this is exactly what (show) Marjery wanted.

Does Sansa feel like she is entitled to be Queen in the North?
มุมมอง 2782 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I don’t think she feels that way. She told Jon he should have the lord’s chamber, not her, even when he told her it was hers as the Lady of Winterfell. Jon also acknowledged that it was her victory. If she was adamant about being in charge, she had the opportunity to convey that to Jon before anyone was declared the new monarch. The thing about Sansa being Queen in the North is that if she is, ...
Why was Melisandre unable to revive Jon Snow immediately like what Thoros did to Beric Dondarrion?
มุมมอง 6272 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Thoros and Melisandra have made it clear that the powers they exhibit, including the ability to resurrect the dead, are not innate to them, but tools conferred upon them by R’hllor so they can better execute his agenda. The same thing applies to the other Red Priests. Therefore, Thoros didn’t resurrect Beric six times, it was R’hllor who did so and drained a portion of Beric’s life-force as pay...
Why did Lord Varys remove his rings before being escorted out to be executed?
มุมมอง 7174 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Varys in the show is an altruistic man, and a man I insist he is regardless of his status as an eunuch, and he represents the interests of the unrepresented and disenfranchised: the smallfolk and peasantry. He employs children to do his work and sees that they’re fed and well cared for. Judging by little Martha’s speaking ability we can judge he does not remove the tongues of his little birds l...
if Lyanna Stark willingly eloped with Rhaegar Targaryen, why wasn't this publicly acknowledged?
มุมมอง 1.1K9 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Both of them eloping, if that is what happened, threw a wrench in a number of political machines. Leyanna was betrothed to Robert Baratheon and her marrying Rhaygar would have caused a number of problems. Another source of problems might have been the Martells. Rhaygar was married to Elia and his taking another bride might have been seen as a great slight by the Dornish. These problems might ha...
Would Cersei really have allowed for Sansa to be wardeness of the North anyway?
มุมมอง 3709 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I think Cersi’s hatred and the price she has put on Sansa’s head is largely overshadowed by the Jon-Sansa-Little finger political love triangle that is heating up. This is going to distract our heroes from the real threat Cersi. So does Cersi still want Sansa dead? Yes. And if so, why doesn’t she seem to be doing more about it? The simple answer is that she hasn’t been made aware of the current...
What was the whole point of Jon Snow being Aegon Targaryen?
มุมมอง 5599 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
A King is the supreme Judge in his Realm. The Realm his Jurisdiction. Jon, is a Northerner. In The North, ancient customs dictate the he who passes the sentence, swings the sword. Because if the Judge can´t bear to do that then perhaps the accused does not deserve to die. Daynerys had to die. So why it had to be Jon who killed Daynerys? By the same laws of the continent, that allowed Daynerys a...
Was there any romance between Jon and Sansa?
มุมมอง 61314 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
It could technically happen. A lot would have to happen, though. First of all, Jon needs to be revealed as the son of Rhaygar and Leyanna. Everyone in the world, including Jon and Sansa themselves, believe that he is Ned’s bastard son, making him and Sansa half-brother and sister. That can’t happen. If he’s revealed as Leyanna’s son then this also reveals to the world that he and Sansa are actu...
If Robb Stark joined Stannis, would the Red Wedding still happen?
มุมมอง 56916 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Unlikely, but there would be other issues to deal with. Had Robb chosen to work with Stannis, he would have to bend the knee and support him with both his men and resources. But would the Northerners follow? They swore fealty to him. They wanted their own King, not another Southerner to boss them around. Stannis would be a somewhat better option than others considering he was brother to Robert ...
Is it possible for Sansa Stark to legitimize Jon Snow?
มุมมอง 38219 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
It takes a monarch to legitimize a bastard. So if Sansa is declared Queen in the North and styles herself the ruling monarch, then yes, in theory she would be able to legitimize Jon (this is assuming that, in declaring her their queen, the northerners would accept her legitimization). In the books, the strong suggestion is that Robb disinherited Sansa from his will to prevent the Lannisters fro...
If Robb is so honorable and brave, why did he refuse to fight Jaime in a single combat?
มุมมอง 77519 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Honor had nothing to do with it. He was not honor bound to face Jaime in single combat. Even if Jaime had approached him before their armies ever met and a offered to fight a duel for the overall victory, Robb would have no obligation to accept that offer. In fact, it would have been foolish to do so. Jaime only made the offer because he knew he was the better fighter, and staking the war on a ...
What would have happened had the Lannisters met King Robb’s terms?
มุมมอง 1K21 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
It'd be weird if they did and Joff would have to be Tommen, but it'd give them time to recall their army back and destroy Stannis with their entire might. plus Robb would have had to release Jaime as part of the peace deal. He’d allow Taiwin to destroy all of his rivals since he would have let his boot off of Taiwin’s neck. Catelyn would be happy as she kept insisting the only reason they're fi...
would it make sense for Robert to have Daenerys married to his first son to solidify his claim
มุมมอง 482วันที่ผ่านมา
From a strictly political standpoint, it could have made sense if Robert captured the Targayrian children after Daynerys’ birth, sent V-serys to the Night’s Watch (and had him die on the way there) and marry Daynerys to his firstborn son. With her married to Joffrey, it would be unlikely that any Targayrian loyalists would support scheming Blackfires or Targayrians pretenders. It may have also ...
Why did Tywin Lannister’s death affect the Boltons' protection by House Lannister?
มุมมอง 1.2Kวันที่ผ่านมา
Because almost everyone in Westeros knew that the Red Wedding was a very dishonorable thing. A crime against the Old Gods and the New. Only the North had a reason to fight because of it, but even Lady Olenna thought that it was something wrong. Do you remember what Tyrion said when he heard what happened, during the Small Council reunion? The North would never forget such treacherous thing, but...
Jon Snow was actually the rightful ruler when he killed Daenerys. Why did he end up in exile instead
มุมมอง 810วันที่ผ่านมา
Jon was the rightful heir before he killed Daynerys, being a male claimant. According the Great Council of 101AC, a woman can only inherit if there are no male claimants to follow. Thing is, though, Jon turned down the throne and instead supported Daynerys’ claim. When he killed her, he committed treason against his queen, and regicide, and his being the rightful heir of a dead dynasty isn’t en...

Team black all the way 🖤
Why does this video exist? It offers no new information nor gives any insightful analysis. And it mispronounces the character names.
The twist on Varys is that he was actually truly a good guy.
The problem was that he didn't always do good things or supported good people. It's no surprise that his luck would run out.
Wait….in the books he removes their tongues? WHAT WAT 😮
So it's no surprise that wasn't in the TV show.
Thoros ressurected them immediately after their deaths- there was a delay in melinsandra's prayer- jon had been dead a few hours
THIS AI narrator usually rankles me but THIS one makes The Red God sound like a CPA in the phone book (R. Hiller and Associates)and The Brotherhood's New leader Lady Ston E. Hart a children's party clown🤡. 🤓😎✌🏻
I never thought about this. Guess I just thought it was something people might do if they were going to die. Why stop at just the ring? If I was him I’d go butt naked. Let my cockless body to the wind
Supportkommentar
No shit😊
Stannis had no male heirs, he could have offered the throne to Renley upon his death
The main reason he's fighting is to protect his daughter's birthright. He would never do that, it would be an insult to both his wife and daughter.
Basucally, cersei and jaimie started the war
Good video. I think that figth is a win-win for Jaime, if he lost, Robb has no more prisoner, if he win well He kill the head of the Stark army.
Please, just stop making videos if you can’t use your own voice. Or pick a better one.
John is already legitimize because it is revealed in the show
1: The AI voice sucks, drop it. 2: marrying the girls MIGHT work, since they were still babies and could be raised to believe the targaryens were evil (not much of a stretch after Aerys). Sending Viserys to the watch is dumb though. Sending Jon to the watch didn't stop him becoming involved in politics. Bittersteel was sent to the watch and just escaped to plot more rebellions. Of course Viserys is insane and incompetent so it's about 50/50 that he'd die on his first ranging, but still, don't take chances.
I still think that Grey Worm should have took Jon Snow's head after he killed his Queen.
Grey Worm was a good soldier, but John was a great fighter. One on one, Grey Worm 🪱 would have been Worm dirt.
AI narrative or are you just very bad at it?
Bobby was not dumb he knew he needed the Lannisters and there money
Is this A.I.?
The voice, yes
Well, as the ruler of a free and independent kingdom, Sansa can create her own inheritance laws.
because Bran was powerful greenseer and warg and that he could live longer in his body
Hoster Tully insisted that Ned marry Carhlyn for his support Ned was already marred or was going too marry ashara Dayne
The AI narration is horrible.
"Find me my Liege Lord and I will take Stannis as my King"
King Tommen Forbade trials by combat in Season 6.
Most things in the final seasons make no sense: this is one of them.
Funny how he wanted to climb the ladder of power, starting as the Master of Coin for THE KING and ended up being a meager advisor for the daughter of the very man he betrayed, the Lady of Winterfell! SO much for climbing the ladder of power!
Yeah but he surely had plans to let others kill themselves until he would be the only one left. Pity he taught Sansa too well! LOL
@@stefan6412 At that rate and from all the way up in Winterfell, those plans would only come to fruition when he would be dying of old age AT BEST CASE SCENARIO! LOL That plan is too slow, too risky and, worse, with very slim chance of success, since as we all know, there is never shortage of family members aspiring to the throne! Littlefinger would be doing that for the rest of his life! Also, he would never have survived the siege of Winterfell and he never anticipated the White Walkers! SO many holes in that plan! He was better off being Master of Coin for Robert and he would have been smarter backing Ned Stark instead of betraying him!
Littlefinger's power over Sansa was based on having people he could sell her out to (the Lannisters, the Boltons). After the Battle of the Bastards, that's no longer possible.
This never happened in the book. This is just another example of the lazy, pudding brained writing of the show's producers.
Thank you. Interesting insights.
Learn to like the guy who tossed an 8 year old out of a tower window to hide his incest sex. The devil sure can pen a good story 😂
They added several scenes to make people dislike Jamie, he was just to popular
Actually interesting information. Just hate the AI voice.
She is the one to blame for many many things, Ned trusting Littlefinger, her arrengment with the Freys, she adviced Rob to make Roose Bolton comander instead of Jon Umber, she released Jaime, she retained Tyrion singlehandedly starting the war of 5 kings because of this she put in danger Ned and her daughters and a BIG ETC
bdsm lover
Stannis was probably the most underrated GOT character
i could tell within 13 seconds this video is not accurate not unsullied would not abandon her they CHOSE to fallow her they were never forced
We gotta stop this ai garbage
ai bullshit
Sansa was jealous of Daenerys because Dany had been through far far far worse than what Sansa had gone through, and still managed to have the strongest armies at her back, along with the fact that Daeberys had power Sansa wouldn't even be able to dream of having, and the fact that Sansa was jealous of Daenerys' beauty!
Sansa is better looking than Daenerys. In the show atleast.
well thought out!
He becomes EMPEROR
melissandre clearly explains in the show that doing that again could kill him
Why bring the smoke when you can just have five-foot-tall girl leap fifteen feet into the air, out of nowhere, and one-shot the allegedly strongest being around?
Killing Jeoffrey wasn't enough, Tommen was next, then Cersei, and maybe other Lannisters. Renly was his competitor, the rest had to be taken at once by force and be crowned King
Yeah, He sure didn't learn as The Old Bear's Steward/Squire/GoFer! 🤷🏼♂️🤓😎✌🏻
"Bastards are cursed" It is known! It is known. 🤓😎✌🏻
Simple answer: he could do nothing I don’t think most understand how weak Tywin is compared to Robert, Robert was very respected and had a lot of support from the lords such as Vale, Riverlands, North, and Stormlands, if he found out Tywin could literally do nothing to stop him from executing Jamie and Cersei if he so wished, and even if Tywin did try to do something Robert with the support of almost the entire kingdom would crush Tywin like a fly.
When you comapre the regions under direct Lannister and Baratheon rule (which includes the Stormlands, Crownlands and Dragonstone), Tywin is probably still more powerful. But when you add in Robert's friends and allies, he can include the North, the Vale and most of the Riverlands (the Freys are close to the Lannisters, but I doubt Walder would back Tywin in such overwhelming circumstances). The Tyrells have no close ties to either Robert or Tywin, but they'd probably side with Robert, not wanting to be on the losing side. The Dornish have no liking for Robert, but they absolutely despise the Lannisters. Iron Islands dislike both probably about equally, but the Westerlands are right on their doorstep so would be an easy target to plunder, and like the Tyrells, would want to back the winning side.
It was a shadow, with the face of Stannis, not smoke in The Show and just a FEELING of Stann in The Book. 🤓😎✌🏻
Little finger just overplayed his hand by trying to turn Arya & Sansa against each other.
Yeah, and this is why Book Pyter that "wretched stripling" will ALWAYS trump Show Littlefinger. 🤓😎✌🏻
