I love this movie but I hate this scene. The way the Jackal was killed was really disappointing.

thank you for posting these Dynasty videos. My parents were driven self-made millionnaires. They went through a rough bankruptcy. After that happened I would watch Dynasty on Wednesday nights with my mom and siblings... Then they recovered financially....but always kept sight of their goals...it helped us keep our spirits up and re-focus on our next steps

She made this show, no one could’ve played her better.

I don't like this ending, why on earth would the detective ask that one specific police officer out of hundred other officers guarding that area and why on earth would the police remember one legged old guy out of all the people that probably entered the area before and after the jackal. I know the jackal should have left the second he heard about getting compromised but he still did a pretty good job untill the last second.

Definitely the end of the new series it's way better

I am curious if to this day, the French are as obsessed with the Identity of the Jackal as we in the US are with the mysterious “second gun of the Grassy Knoll” and the minutiae surrounding Oswald, the successful known assassin of JFK, and his own killer, Jack Ruby, at Dealy Plaza? Which gives rise to another question, that being: with the monicker “Jackal” in this film and the buried bones of a jackal in the first Omen movie three years later, followed by the ill-fated negro doctor finding that Damien had the blood of a jackal in the first (1978) Omen sequel being strongly propounded symbolic elements in the above two Omen movies, is there a special significance and theme for which that particular animal was selected and thusly propounded, essentially, in these three 70’s films? I am really curious and would love to know.

The only thing I think of when I see the scene is if the jackal was successful in the assassination How does he get out? They would lock that whole place down. Maybe he gets out with the mass Confusion going on after the shot Blends in with all the panicking people.

Joan is correct. Dynasty was on the verge of cancellation after the first season. Her arrival in Denver put the show on the map and her portrayal of Alexis was brilliant. She knew it was the role of a lifetime and took full advantage of it. I was rooting for Alexis from the moment she entered the courtroom . Never a fan of dullards Blake and Krystle lol. The 80’s were so much fun 😎😎😎

Now it got remade into a lame DEI crap with a heroine built like a Kikkoman soy sauce bottle.

Joan was really horrible in those days and the cast had every right to dislike her, for her claims of saving the show, (which she spouted in every interview and talk show appearance), were rude and unprofessional. Bottom line, Collin’s got the role because her career was over and none of the bigger names wanted to do television, but I remember well the first season and believe it would have become the hit it ultimately became with or without Collins.

Nice piece of casting for the Lebel role. I'll get back to the book. Don't tell me how it ends!

just finished it it was the worst movie ive ever seen what is this ending ive been so existed to see the president get killed like wtf this guy got soooo lucky every time he tries to get exposed by the police he gets lucky and get away with it BUT SOMEHOW at the end they caught him cuz guess what the police got lucky this time WOWWWW this movie was so bad what a waste of time
