Ozzy is over rated. Actual factual. He only joined Sabbath because he had his own PA kit. Music is indeed subjective, but a poor live performance isn't, and my god when I saw him it was one of if not THE worst live performance I have ever seen. It was comical seeing his re-animated corpse jerk and mince around on stage. Even the band, the actual talent look frustrated as they struggled to carry him through the set. He calls himself 'The Prince of Darkness', then act's as though society has labelled him this title. Man, he sold out years ago from marrying a terrible creature in the form of a music producers daughter, and countless (abysmal) reality TV shows etc, etc. Him, and his god awful family are a live product, nothing metal about that. I also side with the notion that Led Zeppelin got the metal ball rolling, but I appreciate that's a point of contention for many due to Tony Iommi incredible talent and contribution (not Ozzy).

I used to DJ Karaoke in Syracuse at a venue that was built for rock bands. We had over 1100 people a night and did it twice a week. It got to the point where I think anyone who was a singer in theater or a local band etc would show up and it was like listening to the radio doing karaoke, everyone who sang was 7 out of 10 or better, there was always that one person in the crowd who would try to out shout, I mean sing, the performer and it never failed that someone in the audience would yell "STFU" lol If you can't carry a tune, that's fine, just be self aware mmkay.
