Master chief is a one of a kind, as all cats are, but he’s a good boy for a bath because he’s old, 14, and I’ve been bathing him since he was a kitten. He doesn’t get horribly dirty, so I bathe him about three times a year.❤

Poor kitties, all what they have to put up with.

I'm always in awe when I see people bath their cats and it doesn't look like the aftermath of a murder scene. I wouldn't even attempt this with my cat. There would be blood everywhere, my blood. My cat is indoor. She's orange and white. Fortunately for me she keeps herself very clean. Her white parts are lily white. She won't even step into the kitty litter unless it's been cleaned. When she's in a generous mood she will let me wipe down her paws and brush her teeth and that's about it.

I dunno know, but I always have the warm water filled before I bathe my cats and dogs. It seems not to freak them out by the water running....

Compared to my that I had about 20 years ago, your cat is an absolute angel. My cat was well trained and extremely intelligent, but try and give him a bath (even as a kitten) and he would go for your jugular.

I'm surprised you dont put a little prewash powder/liquid and it still tackled those eggs no problem. I have a new dishwasher to replace my old GE that has given up the ghost. I can't wait.

im in market for dishwasher my Maytag quietseries 200 from 2006 finally gave up the ghost. 18 years!! im not to mad at that for getting used about 5 times a week

I thought I was replacing mine with a current, similar model, but there is no rinse option that I can find on my new one. Bummer!

I had this exact same model only 13 years old. It still worked great but the racks deteriorated and the tines were breaking off so when half were gone I called Maytag to order new ones. The bottom rack is over $500.00 and the bottom top rack is unavailable so I was out of luck. I like Maytag in spite of them not keeping up with replacement parts so I ordered the same one MDB 8959…1/13/24. When the dishwasher is done the next morning we open it and the walls of the interior are soaked and dripping water. I figured it was my fault so the next load I used heated water and heated drying. The walls are soaked and the bottom of the dishes are full of water!!!! Did I get a lemon? It’s no wonder that they are all rusting!! I’m calling Maytag to find out what the story is. I don’t want a wet undrying dishwasher. Same number, not the same quality. 😢

That sucks that there is rust in the front. Stainless steel shouldn’t rust I thought.

For such a "low tech" review I found it very thorough and informative. In fact, I am actually planning to buy this same dishwasher to replace the Frigidaire Gallery I currently have. The Frigidaire does a good job of cleaning "when it isn't broken." The spray arm on the bottom is constantly out of balance, drags against the heating element, and the "orbital sprayer" falls apart. This has happened like 6 times in 1 year and I'm tired of fixing it with zip ties or buying new ones for like $80. Maytag here we come!

I need a new dishwasher to replace a 2019 Whirlpool that came with the house and it’s already broken. I saw this Maytag but as it is getting rusty I am now concerned about it. Did you reach out to Maytag about it? The racks from my Whirlpool have rust on it. So annoying.

It’s super satisfying seeing the before and after results. I couldn’t live without mine and I have a bad habit of stacking it so full you would think it would never clean anything but it does. Even something crust and burnt on come out clean 95% of the time depending on the dish detergent and cycle. My dishwasher is a Bosch.
