For heaven's sake, what kind of design is that? Please please leave the current design in place, the external design should not be changed much otherwise it is no longer an icon. As I can see from the graphic, wheelchair transport capability is prevented and is therefore no longer viable for barrier-free transport.

Edinburgh LEVC owner here, rapid chargers now 55p kWh I did a test about 2 weeks ago. Got 52 miles on full charge so that’s about £12.00 I did the same mileage on fuel and it cost me £8.60. That was in a a generally warmer then usual October. In the depth of winter I’ll get about 35/40 miles on a full charge!! Also I live in a flat so can’t get home charger fitted. I can’t benefit from cheaper electricity rates and also I’m told that only either using fuel or even rapid charging is bad for the battery!! So in reality I’ve bought a very expensive vehicle with no environmental benefit, higher fuel costs and a good chance that further down the line I’m going to have to replace the eye wateringly expensive battery!! Wonderful !

The wheelchair install is a complete nonsense double the time of an old tax , around a dozen connections of belts, straps and buckle fasteners, a driver has to get on his knees and be double jointed to secure the chair as nearly almost every standard sized wheelchair is a tight fit in the cab as rear seats do not lift up to give manoeuvre space to turn the chair forwards As for the harness for the passenger it even looks uncomfortable as is a bit too intrusive to fit I very much doubt any taxi driver who does regular wheelchair jobs was consulted with this design which lets the cab down

But the more expensive cab finance payments negate savings on fuel no ?

Only 2000 Taxi's/year? There's 800 EU cities of +50.000 inhabitants and EU Rural Areas where we 450 million Europeans live ... and we get beaten up by politicians pushed by the EU Social Economy policy - inclusiveness, Active Ageing and Long Living, etc. asking us why we don't have eTaxi's in their towns that allow a wheelchair to get in, elderly - they still have money unlike these ubereats & platform co driving (illegal) (young) adults. We're just tinkering around like amators with unadapted cars of a fossil fuel empire unable to adapt fast enough referring to Tesla, and many others. I'm currently sitting in my LEVC watching this video. Can I just make a suggestion. Please don't overdub sh***y music on future videos. I could hardly hear the narrative at some points, and I did rather want to hear this, rather than some 'happy-go-lucky' 'swing-ya-pants' 'isn't life wonderful' stock TH-cam music...✌

Could I have one with a couple of solar panels on the roof so while it sits in the sun all day instead of getting baking hot it tops up the charge for the trip home? This is not a joke and the idea may fail due to weight and cost but in anywhere that is even temperate vans get very hot and in the Med they can get boiling hot!

The only thing which I don't like about this car is??? They say a full charge goes about 80 miles which is not true maximum is about 56 miles? I prefere if they can to update the battery for at least 200 miles in one go it will be great
