This is a compilation of all the live footage/t.v. appearances I could find of Budgie during the 70's. I tried to find the best quality video and audio I could. Yet, due to this band's relative obscurity much of the films haven't been properly kept over the years and are usually poor in quality.

Not one song from Squawk ... :(
@15:20 - uh where's the 4th wha rhythm guitarist ... 😎
That's what I call music. One of my favorites musicians.
Majestic...way ahead of their time. I don't think my dad knew about them, growing up with Elvis, the Eagles, CCR, the Stones, David Bowie, the Who, Bachman, Beach boys etc. didn't hurt by far. But this is next level, just like Jimi and Thin Lizzy back then. Slayer came later...
Saw this stunning Welsh trio many times during their heyday spoke to them all on a few occasions, I have memorabilia that guitarist Tony Bourge used to send me & hand written letters, nobody wrote songs like this mighty trio.🎸🎸🥁🤟
Una,de mis bandas preferidas.Amo su musics🤘🤘🤘🤘💯💯💯💯♥️
Great performance 👏👏👏👏… I heard a glimmer of the Doors in there among a host of others that I’m certain helped inspire their unique flavor ! How delicious 🙂↔️🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
How's that even possible???!!! (13:05) There's no way Krist Novoselic has played with Budgie in the 70s...
Burke Shelley is a personal hero of mine. as someone who also suffers from a connective tissue disorder, i find him infinitely inspiring. such a talented musician and excellent human being.🦜🤘⚡️
Отличная недооцененная группа. Впервые услышал в 75г.
And Judas Priest
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Only if you can go back in time and have Budgie and special guest "Rush" on the same bill, definitely would be an amazing show.👍
Love Budgie, belated fan. Rip Burke
🕯️💀🕯️
Can you imagine what an impression Budgie made on this 17 year old boy in 1971 when I first saw them. I was lucky enough to see them many times and still listen to them almost daily.
Tony Bourge gives me goosebumps 🎸, JT respect 🪶🎤🎸Burke Shelley love his vocals, 🥁 Steve Williams, ~ Ray Phillips my fav BUDGIE ♥️🏴🪶❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Thankyou BUDGIE for Best teenage yrs, my son was conceived while his Dad & I listened on record in those days no CD, much Respect, ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🎸🎤🥁🎸🖤🏴♥️

1977
One of my favorite bands growing up, I still listen to them almost daily 63 and running from a nightmare😅
Tygers of pantang era!😊
Hi Jasonx8465 glad to hear you get to see footage of your dad for the first time I love this band keep on rocking rip budgie..
I'm sorry, but anyone comparing Burke Shelly to Geddy Lee needs their head examined.... His range and vocal capabilities alone cancel out any comparison.... and the bass playing? Burke might make the top 250 list when Geddy is a solid top 20...
What a band they were ❤
Budgie should have added a RHYTHM BASS player because Burke is playing LEAD BASS! Hard to believe he is no longer with us... Absolutely loved these guys! Been listening to them since 1977...
rhythm section just amazing, so powerful
Sweet sweet band!✌️🤟🏻🤟🏻
Бомбавые ребята ! И играли и пел бомба !
Squawk was a fine album. In vinyl, part of big brother Dan’s superb collection.
That girl can sing
Breadfanのギターリフ、格好いいですねぇ。昔コピーしてましたー
Impeckabe best album .. loved them though they could get redundant ...
Budgie
Great band. Wish I could see them. 1978 in Germany when I heard them first. M-Bratt. Love this band. God bless. 💜
way ahead of rush got their recognition 2 many years later I'm a great fan
U
Totally underplayed by a silly band name, the welsh Rush. RIP Burke Shelley. Ever lost a good friend listen to Time to remember....
Was lucky yo see them twice in the late seventies...was already a fan well before that...best band ever..I'm 64 now, still listen to their music..they were the best..thanks for everything Budgie..😘😍✌🤙
I can see where Rush specifically Geddy got his influence from
Wish I could find a live video of Black Velvet Stallion
RIP Burke Shelley. I loved listening to Budgie. Reminds me of a sweet time in my childhood. A neighbor kid brought your music from the UK. Much gratitude. 🏴
I’m from Oz and on my first overseas trip in 1986 headed to the Marquee Club to see Budgie! Unforgettable!!
Happy memories of a classic band. Only got to see them twice sadly.
These guys were inceptual in creating that hard driving British rock sound. I’d put money on it that Wolfmother were heavily influenced by this band - if not, massively coincidental sound similarity. Budgie were just fantastic.
RIP Burke Shelley
Brant bjork on drums.
R.I.P. Mr shelley
