That air filter is going to make your maf read incorrectly and affect your tune. Put a way bigger filter on the car!
No one buys any V-8 for fuel savings we usually call V-8 mpg, SPG Smiles Per Gallon 😂 which is more than any 4cyl will get
@@pmp2559 yeah but knowing it’s not that bad was my point. I’ve gotten worse mileage in my supercharged scat pack than I do in my hellcat.
My 04 ram gets about 9- 12 mpg lol its terrible
@@Donovan-v9j most of the trucks are notoriously bad on mileage.
There is no comparison on other brands. For years I used one ANet A8, then went to three of them due to time. You just cant get the throughput with one. Octoprint in those days was key and Raspberry Pi. Bambu to the rescue and there is no other brand that even comes close. Currently I use an X1C and it is amazing the difference. I watch every 3D printing video on TH-cam and there is just nothing out there that even comes close. The A1 combo is the best idea for budget conscious. The idea of China watching you? Its kinda arrogant considering you dont matter! Think of all the people on the planet and YOU have something China wants? Sorry, but its not a concern for us peons. Hope this helps someone!
Exactly!
I'm sure it's an operator head space and timing issue.
Short, sweet, and to the point! Curious on how the Hellcat lower air box is boosting performance. Is it the additional airflow from the front inlet through the running light?
Yes it is so it increases the volume of air being drawn in.
Most of the stuff people print can be printed just as well on the, currently 179.99, A1-Mini. You have the same sort of speed as the A1 at only slightly more than half the cost. I recently bought 3 A1-mini's and figure they will print 80% of parts I need and grabbed a P1S to print larger items and items needing something more robust like ABS... the enclosure of the P1S allows for this. The balance of 3 to 1 seems about right for what I need... If I need to print more parts in ABS I will just add another P1S and if I find I need to print many larger items in PLA or PETG I will add an A1 to print larger items that the Mini cannot handle but which do not require an enclosure... I am trying for the right balance of equipment to maximize production and minimize total investment in gear. Bambu is looking like it was a good choice for me.. I may even do some reviews of their gear and supplies as I am very pleased with them.
@@IncognitaLabs great insight and yes the A1 mini is an incredible machine but too small for most of my needs. My first print on the A1 was over 4’ tall.
Waiting for my P1S Combo order to arrive, and after having gone from a Flashforge Finder 1, to a secondhand Prusa MK2.5S+, no real option on the market, price wise would be a decent upgrade and fulfill some new features I would need. As becoming a father over the new years some of the features with the Prusa could no longer really be the way forward for us, and as the missus is getting into it more now as well easy of multi color prints is a welcome upgrade for both of us, less sound is a great benefit for the neighbors and the kid and the enclosure means that the little one or guest can’t accidentally mess up a print. I had for the longest time thought of making a enclosure around the Prusa, but with its motherboard frying the heated bed pins before Christmas I scoured the web for replacements and upgrades and realized, price wise I was slowly paying for the P1S Combo, so should I not just go for that as an upgrade to what I have? Don’t get me wrong, I’m still reviving the Prusa and probably not selling it because when it works, it is an amazing workhorse, and as a second printer with most of the features one would want, I see no need to get rid of it. Better to give it to the little tyke when he grows up and by that point it won’t matter if it breaks. The only thing I’m worried about is should I have gone for the X1C instead, and will there be something revolutionary or just that much cheaper at CES 2025 that makes my P1S purchase somewhat a waste? Either way I can’t wait to set up and make the things go “whirrrr” soon. The shop hasn’t got any shipments in the end of December now, so I might have to wait til the kid pops out before I got to play and who knows, I might not have time to play with it rather than him😅👍🏼 Nice review of the A1 and its options. Was really thinking of one had it not been for the enclosure.
@@BuzzBazzJ I’m really holding off on an X1C because I wanna see what this new machine is that’s coming out of Bambu
@ oh yeah! The H2D seems cool if the leaks are to be believed, and any other they introduce is partly why I almost hesitated getting the P1S Combo, but at the same time unless it changes the price drastically, it would always either be overspending on untested new, or overspending on last gen “about to be replaced”. Just hope they show off/introduce new upgrades to the P series.
Hell yeah, dude! And for anyone comparing mpgs, what do you think most guys are getting in their fully loaded and lifted trucks? Not any better, that’s for sure. Drive what you can buy and enjoy your life 😎👍

I thumbs down your video because of the clickbait title
If I didn’t once believe that 3D printing sucked I wouldn’t have used that title.
We cannot live in the past, that is not reality the LA blocks were gas hogs and inefficient not good on emissions. The gen 3 hemis were some what more powerful, better on gas than the old 360 and 318. The hemi wasn't good on emissonI i55s as some other engines. The hurricane engine was not well thought out ( electric variable speed oil pump, electric water pump, plastic thermostat and housing, all aluminum block with wire welded to the block, tin plated piston skirts.3.0 liter motor with twin turbos with high boost for big horse power , when under high loads it doesn't cool down very well.also no dip sticks just a electronic sensor that fail 50% of the the time and on back order All leads to maybe 100k longevity factor of thow away statis with no actual future value. The new magnum
The new magnum is a 90 degree aluminum block with cast iron in place cylinder walls based on the 3.6 v6.double over cams variable timing, also twin turbos 4.8 liter or 292 inches. Lowe end torque and high rpm hp.
Well let’s see what the future has in store for us either way having Tim back things will move in the right direction.
you can even get good prints with an anet a8 altho its alot more work
@@MyAcer20 I had an Anet for a bit. They are good machines
My first printer was an A8. Learning curve was intense. Ended up converting it into a laser engraver. Now I have an X1C and an Adventurer 5M Pro, so all that time investment into my printer is now spent in CAD.
I've been doing an insane amount of research, since I want to dive into the 3d printing world. As a hobbyist with future sales in mind, I've been considering a Bambu X1C or a Creality K2, since they're both self contained, print from the box systems. Am I going overboard?o
@@harvestkitty it really depends on what you want to print. The X1C is on my list when I have the need for it. Unless you are going to be printing really weird filaments like ABS or Nylon. The A1 can print lots of different filament.
I went with the K2 combo for my first 3d printer. I was considering the X1C for black Friday deals and chose for the K2 bc it was cheaper, bigger and more capable. (at the time) Plus its open source. I can print from my own network without having to log into crealitys cloud and have the patience to deal with crealitys issues though I got mine at a time where most issues are gone and I did get an unblemished unit. The quality is there. Sturdy construction and heavy. You are right on point considering among these two, because if you get serious you will grow and these machines will last you a long time, avoiding collecting too many useless 3d printers. The A1 plate its way to small. But 1500 plus tax is a bit too much for a hobbie that wont make you any money. Future sales in mind is another matter, and you need to be clear about this. 1500 worth of A1s is far better than a k2, you can print multiple parts at once for assembly, (almost 4 256 mm vs just one 350mm) and they don't cost as much electricity as the K2, which needs its own dedicated power outlet, the X1C consumes nothing in comparison.
@ all great points as well! I looked into the K2 and it wasn’t for me.
My uncle has one of these with the poly 318 semi hemi and even that’s badass
Why not put a turbo 5.0 in there?
@@bryantalbert9732 it’s not what the owner wanted. I was against it at first but it’s been a fun build for sure. Plus the LS is built for boost so the 700hp goal will be easier than trying to get a 5.0 from splitting down the middle like they used to do at those power levels.
I mean I get it but I like classics to stay classic. One of my favorite cars. Not a die hard ford guy and I am not brand loyal by any means.
@ oh than this will kill you. It’s a 1990 Factory Sunroof car. It’s got a 03 Cobra IRS, Cobra brakes, and a TKX 5 speed.

@@MuscleCarSolutions yeah I have to say I’ve built about 250/300 Hemis at this point they are finicky
Do you do bed leveling before every print? Even if your duplicating the last print? I'm new to this. Thanks!
@@chickentuber great question!! It really depends on your machine, if you know your bed is perfect you can run many prints on the same settings. When I had my old manual leveling bed slingers I did a level every 10 prints and watched the first layers and made manual adjustments as I saw extrusion problems. With the Bambulab A1 it performs a bed level on every print unless you disable that before your print.
@@JohnPartsDesigns Good to know. I have the P1S and so far I've only had one fail (out of 9 prints). I think there was some filament goo stuck on the nozzle.
@ yeah my A1 has been nearly flawless. Matter of fact I had to almost fake a recording to simulate a failed print because I couldn’t get it to fail on me lol. I’m hoping my wife buys me an X1 Carbon for Christmas but I don’t think that’s happening haha
Tim may be back but yet to see. Carlos is gone that be good, but still have to deal with the Italians. First the hell with the 392. They should bring back the 360, 383 and 440. Folks would go nuts over it. Other wise and yes me mopar, but they have abandoned us they can die.
Everyone at Stellantis wanted the hemi to stay. Bringing back the older engines would definitely be cool though.
At-205 can rejuvenate the rubber seal and stop the leak. Add it to Transmission and engine for 500 miles
@@largemouthbassman5628 this is a brand new fresh build. It should have gotten a new rear main seal by the builder. From the looks of it he reused the old one.
Yea stick some random fluid in there that's basically the same as replacing a damaged seal 😂😂
@ right? I’m pretty sure that is a bot anyway
Nothing wring with the twin-turbo inline six.... but they should have a V8 option AND the electric Charger should absolutely be a novelty, not a main part of their lineup.

I can’t respond directly to you. My car has o2 on. It will try to start on remote start and sometimes will rough idle and then stall.
@@jeffkratchman1230 yeah that’s tuning issues on cold start

@@jeffkratchman1230 who tuned it? Because if the rear O2’s are shut off remote start won’t work but that has nothing to do with the boost.
John my name is Bill. I have 2020Challenger 1320 I’m thinking of boosting it. In your testing did you drag race the car at all? Also what do you think about running E85 as a fuel in this combo, instead of 93 pump gas and meth injection?
@@williammchardy5157 I never raced it on the track. Did some street racing with it and blew the trans so the rest of the time I owned the car I kept it to fun racing only. E85 would make an awesome upgrade to the system to allow safer boost for sure. I will say this I did a highway 60-130 against a whipple 410 scat and I kept up with him.
The 1320 would be an awesome car to throw a ProCharger on. I have built 2 Daytona 392's both with ProChargers and both running low 10's in the 1/4 mile. One has been boosted for more than 50,000 miles and the other has been boosted for almost 30,000 miles. I would love to see a completely stock 1320 with my setup. I guarantee in a good DA it would be a mid 9 second car. Tuning and E85 is the answer to boosting a stock 6.4. I believe my cars have proved that.
@ E85 is a huge help in controlling cylinder temps and keeping the top of the piston cool which prevents the ring gap from closing.

How reliable are all generations of the 5.7 hemi, I'm curious. I'm mostly a ls guy in late model engines, I really like the casting strength of these blocks and the heads flow really well too. I'm intrested in building the short block 5.7 and putting a Whipple screw blower on the motor for a Sunday driver in a 2016 challenger rt 5.7, if I buy one since I work for mopar as a service tech now. But idk that much about them, I know more about the ls3 and l99 stuff in the 2011 to 2015 camaros. So if any one can educate me on these 5.7 hemi reliability I'd appreciate it
