Yes, they are based on Penguins, but years were spent changing the recipe, i've had a packet of Penguins, i like them (8/10), they seem to have something else in them like a Marzipan after taste, can't put my finger on it.

Vegemite is a powerful yeast extract, if you take to it, use the smallest amount possible, never use a spoon no one does that in Aus😊

I love milo with a spoon, like 2t, stir and eat the malt that will not mix with your spoon and repeat until you have had enough 😊

Aussie Dairy Milk and Cadburys generally is most definitely not the same as the UK - we use only pure cane sugar whilst the UK used palm sugar. Also Tasmanian milk is considered the creamiest in the world and our chocolate is made from that milk. Palm sugar is frowned upon here as Malaysia and Indonesia are our neighbours and we care about the plight of their native monkeys! So a few fun facts! Enjoy!

G’day mates, great video review. I’m an Aussie dad of 8 kids. I eat Vegemite on toast everyday. What helps with the saltiness is to put cheese on top, adds creaminess and balances off the salty. I describe Vegemite to people as a bit like solidified soy sauce. It is very savoury. Great with coffee. I grew up on it though, so I understand it would be pretty jarring for your first time. Violet Crumble is my favourite chocolate bar. The “typical” Aussie accent you were attempting is stronger the further north you go in the country. I live in the southern state of Victoria where the twangy accent is much lighter. Cheers for the video. Subscribed. 😊
