Thank you for reviewing my book, The Great & the Small. I am honoured to have my book in such company, as the other books sound amazing and impactful.

Thanks for the insight into your graphic novel, Rosena! "Age 16" was a great read!
HI Your videos are great, but they’re not getting the views they deserve. I specialize in TH-cam SEO and can help you optimize your content. Let me offer you a free channel report to show you how we can fix this. Shall we chat?
Really great. A gifted illustator with a personal way of thinking and painting.
It's not mentioned here but the historical consultation was by Randy Bryan Bigham who also contributed images to that book.
thank you for sharing this beautiful conversation.
Loved it!!! I am so excited to share it with my grandchildren. You put in words what I always share with them about my upbringing. Asante❤
Beautiful, thank you for sharing!
Loved your story! so simply told and well read! continue writing!
Canada has been the scene of systematic exclusions. Systematic exclusion has had lasting effects on wealth inequality, as people who grew up in Quebec had a harder time building intergenerational wealth. The funds were created because English banks did not lend to NON-WHITE people: Including Quebecers, Native Americans and blacks. The first Canadian banks were founded by Molson, McGill (black slaves) and Griffin: Francophobes. When racial profiling occurs in a commercial sector such as banking, Quebec, Indigenous, Black and people of color customers are often treated with a lack of respect and are often seen as a risk and denied credit at least as early as 1900.
I just finished this book today it’s so good! ❤
Thank you for introducing me to Ibby! I appreciate it. My 4 year old daughter came home from school with A Sky-Blue Bench as her library book. I noted the Sneider Family Book Award medal on it, and then have been going further down the path of disability representation in kids picture books.
Belle chanson aussi en anglais merci elle aura également accompagné le debut de sieste de mes cocos apres une belle lecture du livre Voyage de nuit à la bibli.

Thank Mr. Miller for presenting such interesting chapter books from Canada. I hope to share these titles with my colleagues in the United States. It's important for children to learn about the experiences of other people from different countries and cultures.

Hi Amie, you may be able to get in touch through the publisher: www.heritagehouse.ca/contact-us/
I like this lo-fi learning video.
Glad to hear that! Thanks for watching.
I too was a first generation immigrant and that feeling of having to translate everything for your parents is something only other immigrants can understand. It was very easy to get upset with my parents when I had to do everything in English like talking to the bank or the landlord for them at such a young age. It also showed how brave our parents had to be to come to a land where they didn't even know how to ask where the bathroom is.
What a GREAT video. If you haven't heard of Kern Carter, or read his story about raising his teenage daughter, then you are missing a story of American triumph. Not every writer can depict the power of personal choice as a human condition as he does. Kern Carter captures the value of struggle and personal choice - and he writes it so clearly you GET it - his narrative is a voice that is a friend sharing their story with you and you follow and smile and learn and grow. Listen and read his work. Here is a great American writer who will rise.
Fantastic! Do you know if her books are available as audiobooks? I haven't been able to find any in that form.
Unfortunately the books are not available in audiobook format at this time.
That's too bad, but thanks for letting me know! Hopefully they will come out soon in audio because I can't wait to read them (audio is the only format I can access books).
Fun and informative! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
YOU DIDINT EVEN READ THE STORY
So imma Say Frist IM first!
