    Why always looking for European influences? Be proud of Asian culture. Southeast Asian food brings so much flavor and umami. Yes maybe the Europeans introduced certain produce, but it still takes the brilliant taste buds of moms and grandmas to put together the excellent flavourful dishes.

      @@j.r.1903 -- ah that's true, however, there are countless restaurants and homes that serve pink duck breast. i don't see any reports of mass campylobacter outbreaks because of it, and it's been consumed for hundreds of years.

      @j.r.1903 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@feastmode7931 although they do serve duck breast for decades, I've think it's only very recently they started cooking medium-rare, inspired by steak temperatures. but starred restaurants in france are now not even doing the "barely pink" but way too undercooked like the one in this video. Even if it was not for the health issues, undercooked poultry just tastes "wrong", if anybody ever bit into one they know.

    How wonderful a couple they are! Many Thai desserts are much influenced by Portuguese cuisine but having adapted by using the local raw materials (by the time it was first introduced to Siam). Instead of using fresh milk, baking powder, and butter, coconut milk was chosen as the alternative mixture. I hope I could try the original Portugal desserts in Thailand (but not in the Portuguese restaurant). I would prefer the Portuguese food festival in the shopping center.
