Interesting as that body style is very different than my 1981 GS450t. I wonder how many different body styles it had

Back in 1983 I bought a GS450 and in 1985 a XT250 and both gave me good service

Luftburk, helsystem och ombestyckning var gjort när jag köpte hojen. En riktigt trevlig hoj som jag själv kört runt typ 3000 mil med . Grattis till hojen 🙂

Can somone explain why this happens ?
Probably, some say i can't Kickstart bikes. I say ignition timing was off. No kick backs after adjusting timing.

thats a big bore 4 stroke.....it has a compression release for a reason.....kick to compression, hit release ,kick past compression ,release comp release....and kick normally.....learned this the hard way....ripped my new kmart sneakers in half....lucky i didn't get hurt.....
Thats right, but with the timing slightly off it will kick back whatever you do. After adjusting the timing i can start this bike barefoot, almost 😁

Front end looks twisted the handlebars aren't straight
Correct, the lower handle bar holders were bent. Som previous owner must have crashed or something. Fixed this issue earlier this summer 👍

@@Edwinsodaout of the bikes i own today, probably the Drz400 . Had this bike for 20+ years now. It can do everything i enjoy doing on a bike. Not the fastestand or strongest bike, but the best overall bike for my type of riding 🙂
OMG I was travelling around Europe when I was 17 with the same bike !!! Only my one had the tank in chrome which was more beautiful, it was my first bike, I loved it to bits
My favourite bike back in the day, wish I had not sold it. 😪😪😪

Maybe so, but it had to start somewhere. The xt500 is still a super nice dual sport bike 🙂
@Playandride For the 1970's. No suspension, no power, no handling, no ergonomics. A modern 125 2 stroke probably puts out the same amount of horsepower. And I grew up riding 1970's bikes. KTM makes the ultimate dual sport now. A legit bike that can moto and is street legal.

Stay off the throttle when you’re starting it my guy!
Timing was slightly off, after fixing that no more kicking back. Not throttle related. And also, stayed off throttle 🙂
@@Playandride Let me ask, what is the cause of the timing being too forward or too backward, the cause of the kickback on your motorbike, thank bro
