Śliczny sweterek, dziękuję za inspirację ,subskrybuję ,pozdrawiam.
What is the purpose for slipping those 3 stitches? Why not just knit until you reach the other yarn?
Doh! Regardless of the swatch, the top looks fantastic. The white one looks really loose anyway however I prefer a bit tighter like the pattern. I would have done the same thing. Reduce needle size and reduce some stitches under arm. Should be fine! I need some summer projects. I’ll look this up.
I hope your simple adjustment ideas work out because the top looks fabulous on you. That colour suits you so well and looks great with the skirt. Please update us with a video on the finished Anker Tee.
Thank you, after 40 years of continental knitting, for teaching us this. Gobsmacked i am!
Good evening Thank you for the useful explanation I need if you can help me to make a knitted dress for my 5-year-old granddaughter using Fair Isle But I can't read the pattern and I'm not interested because I won't do this job professionally it's just a hobby Because I will start from the top and when I make a sweater or jacket or dress for my granddaughters I start from the top and divide using the men's method but I need to know how to work incrementally in this method and I am restricted to a specific pattern and a number that depends on the pattern So is it possible for you to help me? I will be grateful and thankful to you
Hi, We are very happy to help you if you can come into our store. If you're not close to us, it would be better if you can visit a yarn store close to you so they can help you work out just what you need. Good luck!
Those colours are so pretty! Thanks for this tip. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
You are so welcome!
Looks great! I had a quick squizzy at the pattern on Ravelry, and the pattern suggested to use worsted 10 ply wool. Did you use different size needles for yours and also it does not state (without buying the pattern) what the recommended positive ease is. The photo on Ravelry is a lot more fitted around the neckline. I'm trying to decide if it's for me. Many thanks.
Gorgeous sweater, love the colours
Thank you! 😊
Looks fabulous, love your colour choice!
Thank you so much!
Hi from Denmark. Le Knit has many more beautiful patterns and they are all so nice to knit. You should try to knit them too. I love them all. I have one like yours :-)
Thanks for the tips! We'll take a look
simply gorgeous ❤
thank you xx

It looks gorgeous
Yes! We can't wait for it to come in.
Love the jumper you are wearing. Nice to find a fellow Aussie. Thanks for explaining how gauge works and how to fix it, lovely colour choice by Janine
Thank you so much!
Beautiful work Deb! Would it be possible to create a Skein Sister's group or class to make this and other projects like this?
That's an interesting idea, and great to know you'd be keen. Leave it with us, might be something for next year. Deb
What a pretty top. It really suits you, Deb. I agree it looks great in one colour.
Oh thank you! I really think I have to make my own version.
It looks beautiful on you. Thank you for explaining the detail of the cast off edge at the hem. It's simple but very effective.
You are so welcome!
I definitely have to work this pattern. Lovely lace!!! ❤
You should! I'm so tempted to make my own too
I’ve knitted Zweig in 2 colours, it looks so different in a single colour, I’m tempted ❤😊to
You should! I keep thinking about what I should make one in too
Thanks so much for a clear tutorial. I appreciate your using light colored yarn (it's so much easier for the viewer to see) and continental style knitting. I am a continental style knitter as well and it's so much easier for me to learn a technique when the demonstrator uses the continental style also.
Thank you so much! I'm very glad it was helpful=. I naturally do everything Continental style so I have to be reminded to show the English way!
That’s a beautiful colour work sweater. The yarn content is perfect.👍 🎉❤
Thank you so much!
Lovely!
Thank you! I've just finished one sleeve, so only one more to go.
Porfavor poner subtítulos en español gracias gracias 🙏 ❤
I wish we could but it's not possible for us to do that at the moment. One day...
Beautiful colour & beautiful knit ❤
Thank you! 😊
Hi Deb, Love the jumper your wearing, is it Flax? If not what is it please. I enjoy your updates. Cheers Robyn
It's not Flax, it's called Lizzie by Sosu Knits. I love it so much I'm very tempted to make another.
@@SkeinSisters Thank you 😍
It’s beautiful. I love seeing new patterns and adore this. Thanks for sharing this. I’m in a bit of a knitting rut at the moment (between seasons) and need to spend some time considering what to do next. I’ll look out for this one.
Thank you so much. The pattern comes out tomorrow and there are so many colour variations in the test knitters versions that I'm sure you'll be completely inspired! Fun too cos of the little bits of colourwork at the bottom of the body and the sleeves.
Thanks for showing us your beautiful jumper. The colours and length are perfect. It will be great to see a photo of the finished masterpiece.
You are so welcome! I finished one sleeve last night so only one more to go. Hopefully next week....
So beautiful. Which (Claypan or You Make Me blush) did you use for CC1 and CC2? I would like to do the same.
Thank you! I started with You Make Me Blush for CC1 and then Claypan was CC2 so it fades in and out. Have fun!
I really like those colours on you, looks fabulous!
Thanks so much Christine x
It’s so lovely! The pattern is beautiful and love the colours. Sometimes people use colours that are not contrasty enough but I love how the pattern just pops.
Thanks. It is such a gorgeous pattern (Eleanor has so many beautiful patterns) x
Absolutely beautiful 🧶🩷🧶
Thank you. It's such a lovely pattern. J
Thank you. Can't wait to wear it!
Love the top you have on - who is the pattern by , 🙏🏼
@@elizabethvernon4639 It’s called Summer Sorrel by Wool & Pine
I really like the jumper you have on in this video…pattern name, please.
@@rosieshipway8119 It’s called Linho by Joji Locatelli
It is really lovely and I think your colour choice is perfect - I will be anxiously awaiting the next showing. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much! I've just had to rip back a little bit - made it too long in the yoke - so it's going to be a bit longer finishing than I expected!
Looks beautiful your colour choice and knitting. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Thanks for describing the Test Knit process 🥰
You are so welcome!
Question. Even though each round has the next color moved to the right by three stitches, does the BOR remain unchanged?
Absolutely. The BOR just stays in exactly the same place and it's just the yarns that move positions.
Hi ! Thanks. Very well done ! could you give the sweater a difficulty rate ? Which size did you knit ? It would be helpfil to know.
@@bs3009 thank you! I made the Medium size. I would give it a 4/5 for difficulty, mainly because you have four huge charts to follow across each row and the pattern is not at all intuitive so you have to carefully follow each chart. The techniques themselves are not tricky though
@@SkeinSisters Thanks a lot for the info.
I agree that the patterns need to use colours that are strong contrasts because it’s just easier to see. Also err on the larger size rather than packing all the graph patterns on the one page. Love the pattern and the colours. I started colour work knitting last year and it’s been so rewarding to do especially if the colours just go well together.
I totally agree! When I worked in magazines (20 years ago!) I used to roll my eyes at readers who asked us not to use too small a font, and now I'm at that age where I completely get it!!!
Thank you Deb. It was interesting to learn what is involved in test knitting. The jumper is looking gorgeous already. The colours you have chosen are so rich and wonderful. It will be great to watch your masterpiece progress.
You are so welcome!
beautiful!
Thank you!
Love it! Love the yarn but also the shawl too. It’s gorgeous. I’ll have to look this up. Thank you. I always love perusing your website and seeing what’s there! Happy knitting 🧶😊
Thank you so much!

Your blanket looks beautiful. I’ve bought this book to try and make this blanket. Did you use recommended colours or did you choose your own?
That's fantastic! It really is one of the most things I've ever made. I used my own colours and worked it out as I went. That's part of the fun, but if you get one of our yarn kits then we can provide you with the colours I used too.
Love the blocks. Wow. Also your multi-colored sweater is lovely.
Thank you! I loved making them. My cardigan is called Penguono, and it's one of the most fun things I've ever made!
