I been looking at getting one of them to try hid you got to use it much
I have only 3 weeks of use on this camera. During that time, I had no issues. I look forward to using it more this fall. Another good camera option is a Browning Command Ops. These cameras are durable and worth the money. I have a few cameras that have 29+ months of use on them and they still are working like the 1st month. Thanks for watching!

How is the battery life on the camera
For my test, I had this camera out for three weeks in December and it took 120+ videos with no change in battery life icon. Thanks for watching.

Trapping is for sadist this is an extremely cruel thing to do...shame on you
Appreciate your comment and you have the right to your opinion but don’t shame me for something that I do. Trapping is a practice that has been going on for centuries and has its benefits for not only the raccoon population but for other populations like turkeys, quail and other ground nesting species. Raccoons are nest raiding predators that can devour a nest of eggs. Trapping is a wildlife management practice that combats the issue of a high raccoon population. Hopefully, you can respect that.

Can you receive photos or video on your phone when an animal appears?
Not on this particular camera model. However, Browning does make 2 different cellular cameras that allow you to receive photos or videos on your phone when the camera is triggered.
Is there an external 12v battery jack?
Yes, the camera has a 12v external battery jack. Browning makes an external battery pack that plugs into the camera to prolong the life of the camera.
