I spent the rainy day yesterday putting a 6s 2050kv spectrum combo into a 4s outcast and the 4s system in a granite and about to go test them in the next hour . I hope it all works out. Everythjng is calibrated and sounds good but it was too wet to rip yesterday . The sound will definitely change with the steel gears .

I used the arrma steel diffs and an rcawd slipper gear with an extra slipper pad on the top part cuz it was a little loose . Amazon was cheaper than Jenny’s because they charge $20 for the 2 little gears while the arrma kit for $80 has everythjng ready , yokes and little pinions spinning great on my example

This car man . When I don’t drive it for a while then come back to it like a month or so later it’s always an i press I’ve superb handling rig imo . It’s got a little man complex and goes all out hard . I can’t even full throttle mine most of the time but it’s good @80% throttle on mine . I forget what size pinion but it’s bigger and so are the tires . 4.3” tall gdool tires on Amazon set this yotch off . They’re like $25 amd come with the 3 adapters so with the wider 17mm aluminum hubs and slightly taller tires it’s insane in grass now . Stocks are good still bit them ones light it up . Or any 4.3:ish tall tires is the max I believe . That’s how tall them Rlaarlo paddles are

I put my spare front springs from my Maxx wide kit installation onto my Maxx Slash front shocks, the springs were to short

Probably gotta set it higher for front flips. Is that ramp flimsy in the leg area? I watched another video where it appeared to be very flimsy

I just received my first RC which is the carbon fiber terminator. Havent even powered it up yet. Just put my wheels and wheelie bar and my stickers on. I inspected it and didn’t find anything wrong. Can you list any parts I should just order now and keep in stock to ensure less down time ? Also could you identify any tools that are a must have and ones that will make my hobby life easier

Which motor size did you go with? I have the same truck and esc. I have the 3652 4000kv motor and that thing is badass on 3s and stock pinion. I love how it runs and the power is perfect for me. I swear tho looking at the background of your video it looks like you’re close to where I live. I’m in so cal lake Elsinore area. Anyways nice backflips and cool to see someone else enjoying this rig as much as I am.

I want them to make a 8th scale Omni Terminator carbon version. That would be dope as hell....😮

I have the Omni Terminator carbon version. That thing is a beast. It takes jumps very well due to the awesome shocks. Running it on the road is a blast.

If the bounce is coming more from the tires, then the shocks are too restricted. If the bouncing is bottoming the shocks, then the springs are too soft. If the shocks are not bottoming, then the shock pressure or restrictors are wrong. This is assuming your weight distribution is balanced. The bouncing may happen if the balance is off.

The hub bolts may be a little tight, and restricting the movement of your right rear suspension arm. Do you recommend it? I have one here that I ordered on Amazon prime day, and only paid 212 for the carbon version. I haven't opened it yet because I'm still undecided on whether I'm gonna keep it or send it back. What's your opinion?
