Great video! I have a a question. I am currently running google ads search campaign for my products for my ecommerce store with 1 campaign-1 Ad group-14 keywords per ad group strategy with a $20 budget per day for this campaign. I am currently using a mix of phrase and exact match keywords in same Campaign such that they don’t overpay overlap each other. For example, if I have phrase match keywords “gift for Sister” then in this same Ad group I will not have exact match for same keyword like [gift for sister] but I would rather have an exact match keyword like “present for big sister”. Is this strategy of having 14 keywords of phrase and exact match mix a good strategy? How many maximum keywords can I have per search ad campaign consisting of only 1 Ad group? I would really appreciate your response, thanks!

If I were to start in eCommerce all over again, this is what I’d do… First of all, I’d stop spending money on paid ads. Sounds controversial, but here’s the truth…👇 If your business is new, you’ll have to test a bunch of different hooks and angles on how to position your brand. And sure, you can do that using paid ads, but you will need a lot of money. If you don’t have a lot of money, it will be a complete waste of money for you… If I were to start all over again, I would drop the belief that I’m “too late to the game”… Because you’re not… There are 3 billion monthly active users on META, 500 Million on Pinterest and on top of that there are 8.5 Billion daily searches on Google. 90% of that is COMPLETELY UNTAPPED full of your ideal customers who are READY TO PAY YOU. Inside our Ninja Community, new brands are getting huge organic exposure and some of them are doing $1,000 DAYS from organic traffic alone. So drop the belief that it’s too late for organic because it is NOT. If I were to start all over again, I would also drop my ego and I would seek help from someone who understands eCommerce. Yes, you’ve got plenty of experience and yes you might be an expert on your products, but if you’re not an eCommerce expert, save yourself the headache and don’t pretend to be one. If I were to start all over again, I would make sure that I understand that “if it sounds too good to be true, it’s too good to be true.” I would become more accountable and I would not blame expensive agencies that didn’t deliver what they promised. It was my fault that I believed in the miracle they promised. No agency will ever be able to get you steady sales profitably if you’re not directing them properly. If I were to start all over again, I would focus on promoting myself to the CEO of my business faster which means learning much faster what does it take to lead, direct and sustain a profitable business.
