Hello! Thank you so much for visiting my channel!! This is a great channel to learn IKEBANA, Japanese flower arrangement! I would try to show you how to arrange many kinds of Ikebana.
I’m Hiromi Fujikawa, an IKEBANA Instructor at Sogetsu School. I have been practicing and teaching for 17 years in Japan, England and USA. I have exhibited my works at Sougetsu Ikebana show in Tokyo and London.
Having educated in Japan but lived in countries such as UK, Turkey and USA, I have developed a deeper appreciation for Japanese flower arrangement and Japanese culture.
I just started teaching online lesson by using Zoom. Anyone who are interested in learning Ikebana, don’t hesitate to contact me!!

One kind of material IKEBANA ! Materials: 3 Areca palms I only used 3 Areca palms to make this IKEBANA. I also used wires to fix this round shape. Steps 1. Make a fixture inside the flower vase 2. Fix the palm to the fixture with a wire 3. Fix the second palm to the fixture with a wire 4. Insert the round shape Palm in the front #ikebana #sogetsu #flowerarrangement

Can absorb water better because air not going inside the cut/stem.
